You're epeen is massive hope you're happy after you achieved that :)

Personally, I can't see why you'd go with two graphics cards, What games do you hope to run ? Because even at that res I can't see much pushing a single 295.

You're spending all this money and picking an ugly looking case.
You will want to get yourself a sparkling blu ray player instead of a CD-ROM drive.

Some people have all the luck :P

I agree with getting one 295 now, and getting another later if need b; as well as 6gb now, and another 6 later on. This will leave you with enough fora SSD and a Blu-ray drive :D

why don't you buy one 295 now and the other in 1-2 years?

use the money left to take the missus to majorca.

i agree you dont need it...i dont even need what i have really, but i like 60fps on all games at full detail...i would just get one for now but its up to you...dont skimp on your psu..at least 1000w

Anyone know if it's even possible to have 3 x 4870x2 ?

This is getting a little bit silly :p

3 4870x2's isn't possible, they only have 1 crossfire connection each, so maximum is 2. As above it's already quad crossfire. God knows why you would need anymore anyway.

personally I wouldn't recommend OCZ reaper Ram to my worst enemy, Whilst i've only got the DDR2 variety its rubbish, Mine has been RMA'd twice now and replaced (all 4 sticks have failed at some point) within the last 14 months.

OK... some last minute changes, i have been reading that TRI SLI out performs quad SLI in most benchmarks, 3 way SLI seems to not strip the gpu's of some of their memory and also do not suffer from stuttering as much so this is how im gonna role...

3 X BFG GeForce GTX 285 OC2 1024MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card - Retail

Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - OEM

Silverstone Temjin TJ09B-W Aluminium Tower Case with Window - Black (No PSU)

Corsair HX 1000W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-1000HXUK)

2 X Crucial 64GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (CT64GBFAA0)

OCZ 6GB 1800MHz DDR3 PC3-14400 (3 X 2GB) Reaper Low Voltage Tri-Channel Kit (OCZ3RPR1800LV6GK)

Coolermaster V8 CPU Cooler (Socket 940/AM2/LGA775/LGA1366)

Total: 2,381.02

The Noctua NH-U12P is now out of stock so will have to settle with coolermaster or order from elsewhere... what do you guys reckon ?

Thanks for everyones contributions and advice it is all very much appreciated.

Will post pics as soon as it arrives :D Please let me know of any last minute thoughts/changes you might suggest.

Is that enough hard drive memory for your needs? 128Gb total, or am I missing something?

Looks an awesome setup though, will be a beast!
