Looks like is is on some form of plastic/board so not too bad :)
 
yeah using the plastic from the packaging with an anti static bag underneath... thanks for all your positive comments, thanks for changing my mind about the case, its AWESOME. The way the motherboard trade slides out for easy install is a godsend.

To everyone who wants to know what res ill be playing at, it 2560x1600 on a dell 30"

To all the flamers about the money, please bear in mind i work my nuts off and this is what i enjoy so why not splash out if i have saved up ?

More pics to come :D sorry for delay just had to pop out and grab a converter for the SSD's as they are 2.5 and the cage is obviously 3.5
 
i nearly hugged him lol and yeah thats the feeling that you cant put a price on... the whole omg its like xmas... except well this is actually better lol
 
one minor issue.... i think i need a bigger case, the graphics cards dont seem to fit lol...

Any ideas? will post a pic in a sec..

You sound really pleased with your buy turboduck, your machine looks gorgeous. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't bat an eye lid at spending more that two grand on a beefy PC. MORE PICS! What games are you going to be playing, Did you treat yourself to some nice accessories too? eg. headphones, keyboard.. Get some mates round and watch their jaws drop when you bang on Crysis!

My stuff (PC) should be arriving anyday now, but am gonna be away all week, roll on next Friday :)

Oh bugger, is there no way you can mod the motherboard tray by removing the brace on the corner?

This thread shows 3x GTX280 in a TJ09 ???

EDIT: It looks like the motherboard in the article above has the 3x PCI Express slots mounted further up the board by 1x slot....

Get rid of the sound card maybe(Don't know if that will help)until you can find a bigger case. All looks Fantastic buddy money well spent.

Was going to suggest removing the backplate of the third card but then I saw the little triangular metal plate at the bottom. Is it bolted onto the mobo tray or is it possible to remove it?
 
i was thinking of that but the exhaust on the GPU would be enclosed in the case...

The slots on the mobo dont seem to be lining up with the slots on the case, took a few more pics to try and show what i mean...

I think your soundcard should be fine but need to check positioning of slots against case. The only case I found so far with 10x expansion slots it the Lian Li Armorsuit PC-P80B.

what a brilliant and useful response thankyou so much for pointing me in the right direction, now im on a mission to find out where is still open today lol and try and go get either a new mobo or the big mofo'ing case
 
ah gutted for you mate, that really sucks!

Can you actually fit all 3 cards on the motherboard when it's not in the case? It looks a really tight fit!
 
decided to go for the lian li HUGE tower - trying to find anywhere i can get one from right now i.e today/tomorrow so i can get this all up and running and post more pics for you guys XD
