Which size of screen did you go for, was it 26 or 32", as even though you bought from highstreet still think you got ripped off slightly, am sure huge highstreet electrical chain are listing LE26R51BD at £799, if you got 32" then you got around £160 off lol - and how the h**l did you haggle that much lol

Before I even think of pressing the buy button I wanna know weather this tv will be big enough to replace the 28" widescreen CRT I have now??? To me the 28" I have now is the perfect size but because its a cheap model I purchesed a couple of years ago its really on its last legs the Ir reciver on it dosnet work anymore I have to unplug it at the mains to switch it off because the buttons not working. So is this TV gonna be big enough for me or do I want to wait a little while more and save up for the 32" model?????
I recon my old set could last me until at least feb when Im gonna have more money (Im not skint at the mo but dont have as much money as i would Like)

Since you specified that it was an R51 model, that means you're ordering it from one of the big high-st places online, which is very odd. The R41 model from other online places is identical technically. Unless you really like the very slighly different bottom bit of the R51's casing, then £100 is a lot to waste!
If you were paying £750 in a shop, then that's different, as you're paying the extra to have the advantage of being able to take it back easily if something goes wrong.
Secondly, your 28" CRT will have a viewable diaganol of 27" at the most. So a 26" LCD will be pretty much the same. If you have £750 to spend on a 26" R model, then for £925 you can get the 32" version. Something to think about!
