I ordered mine on the 4th of Jan and got it today!

Hi can anybody with LE32R41B/BD's please post a side on picture of the connection panel so that i can see how far the connectors come out from the plastic. I have received my set this morning and have a problem with the connectors being set back making the componenet connections flush with the plastic, the audio connections are fine but everything else is set back. If you have had this problem could you tell me if you resolved it without getting it sent back to be repaired.

Same problem :(

I phoned the retailer - they have swapped it out and the new one is marginally better.....

Might have to either give Samsung a call or if feeling insane unscrew 11 screws and line it all up myself....

is there any true widescreen support available in bf2 yet? I've just tried 1360 x 768 to see what it would run like if I bought a sammy using the bf2 command line, and everything is squashed down..:(
 
BF2 does support widescreen.

The menus and the in-game HUD will be squashed but everything else is in tru widescreen. Look at the wheels on a vehicle or switch to a sniper reticle to see that they're perfectly round, not squashed.
 
apparently there is a delay in all samsung models for delivery, my samsung was supposed to be delivered on the 17th and it came to the 17th and no samsung, i phoned them up and theres some delay, and gave me the 16th of february ive been waiting since december now.

Also why can I use PIP to view Component when I am on the PC source yet I cant do it the otherway round?
 
Hey ho

Just recieved my upgrade for the Samsung.

It consists of a cd-r with the stuff burnt onto, just a rom flasher. With a 9 port serial to what seems more than a 3.5mm jack. And an array of instructions that seem to be extremely self explanatory.

Just gonna have to figure out how to use my pc to run the updating program, whilst having the Samsung set to standby (which is also my only computer screen in the house).

Once I'm finished with it any one else who needs it can have it sent out to them.
 
And just done the update.

Very easy although on looking at the file used to update my 26", I think that it would be specific to the version that you have as in the filename it has a 26 ROME.
 
no tearing or shadows on mine, but about 1/20th of the screen doesnt do anything on the far right when playing on the xbox 360 through vga. by not doing any thing its like its off, the same why as part of a 4:3 tv is off when watrching something in widescreen if u get me.
 
I'm not sure if I can mention them (don't think they sell PC parts), but a certain catalogue company is doing 20% off for new customers, and they sell the 26" and 32" Sammys!
