Has anyone got any pictures of it using a PS2?

As We're thinking of having one in the lounge for when, the kids come by :D
the ps2 looks sick on mine. but through rbg scart it apaently looks ok. anyway i'll be back with news on my findings

By sick, he means crap i think :p

I got the replacement to my faulty 32" of this telly last week.....First one wouldn't power on all the time

The replacement has a newer firmware and for some reason the picture quality looks better than my first set....The 360 had always looked amazing but DVD's and Sky looked pretty bad but now with the replacement, i'm more than happy with everything through it, except my Gamecube.....Looked very poor when i tried RE4 on it :(

I can get pics of the 360 , Xbox or Gamecube on my 32" version of this telly if people want them :)

Your standard high street stores are your best bet. But I really would consider buying one over the internet. £475 is a bit better than £749!! :p

ye i know and i could probebly get the 32 version for about £50 more, i was guttered when i saw the prices that they were for sale over the internet but i cant seem to find anywhere with stock. Ive checked in store around my local area and asked them to serach but still cant find anywhere.

You dont need drivers for what is essentially a monitor.
All a driver will do will make it so Windows knows its name, and also lock you out of certain resolutions that wont work on it.

Why not just make your own monitor driver? Its not hard to do.
I dont know if PowerStrip still supports it, but i remember making a custom monitor driver for XP a few years ago in PowerStrip, for an old CAD CRT that i got on the cheap.
Give it a try. :)

Anyone got the new DVB download yet? It told me there was a update so I got it and it makes the guide really crap. Haven't seen anything good come out of it yet so I will be rolling back to the default firmware.

I received a big software update for my Samsung WS28A116D (digital CRT TV) yesterday. The TV guide is better as it's now a 24hour guide instead of just "now & next". It's also helped the nasty underscan you get on CRTs too. I'll never buy another CRT TV again as underscan drives me mad.

i just connected this to a laptop to see what a pc would look like on it. the laptop's res was 10**x7** when i changed the res to 1280x7** the tv pushed the sides off the screen so i couldnt see the right icons in the start bar of the start logo, whats that about?
