Have to wait 3 weeks for delivery though :(
well i have a letter from Samsung that all 26" models are delayed, due to production problems and the 3rd of march is the new estimated delivery time, i ordered mine in december and still no luck, Im going into my local town tommoro and looking for a different tv.

Ordered mine Monday, got it yesterday?! (non-IDTV version). Supplier (reputable) still say that it is in Stock. :) (They got them in stock end of last week)

Just been into town and saw the le26r51bd they had 2 left, so i got one, im stupid for ordering from the internet i should have just gone to retailers like you guys said, im just setting it up now, whewn i first turned it on the quality wasnt good, i had to take it downstairs and tune it into the main arial, then bring it back upstairs and the quality was superb. Im going to hide all the wires and set it up to surround sound.

I have had my LE26R41B for a lil while now and Im loving it except 2 things, the awful picture quality from Sky, its got problems with red and mpeg artifacts, is thiis sky or the telly?

Also all the highlights are blown out and all the shadow details are under exposed which means dark images like Sky One's Threshold are to dark and images like the Philadelphia advert are so bright you cant see the detail in clouds and the clothes. This seems to be a contrast problem am I alone in this or is it my settings or what?

Thanks

I have a couple of things which I would like to say about this screen.

Dark shades look really bad. All blocky.
Red text on the monitor source looks blurry.

The dark shades one is the worst though....

Haven't tryed Sky myself but What Hi Fi said "connect it to sky and your laughing"

As i said before when i first plugged it in and tuned it in i wasnt impressed, but after tuning it in to the main arial then putting it back to the phillips arial the quality was amazing, I havent noticed anything wrong with it as of yet, I cant see no blocky images no bluring text all crisp, truely a lot better.

here are a few pics

Apparently the £475 place is still receiving stock in 10 days. Fingers crossed I'll get one then! :D

Is the place that sells them that cheap a competitor?
My mates after the same telly and wants me to find the place that they are under £500 for him.

Not really, but they do sell some stuff that OcUK does.
All I can say is check www.avforums.com. In the LCD forum there is a lot of discussion about people ordering from the place.

I've just rung them up to check my order, it's still open with the 20% discount, so 26" Sammy for £479.99. They're getting in 500 of them on 18th Feb, so if you order one now you should still get one! :D

I was thinking of going for the 32" one.. but I think 26" should be enough!
The 28" CRT we have atm is big enough, and that has 26" viewable

The following models have a PSU or Cap problem, this is the reason for delays. Samsung LE26R51, LE32R51 and LE40R51 .

Current owners should be contacted about a mod (either psu or 2 caps) AFAIK it only affects certian serial numbers but its a lot of tv's (talking thousands not a few)
