why does it feel real hard to turn?
Are you trying to turn a corner at full throttle?
It's all about throttle control in and out of corners.
why does it feel real hard to turn?
juls @ nogripracing said:In logitech profiler, use default wheel settings, uncheck "allow game to change settings".
Shift 2 uses friction and damper it is intended by the devs, it has to be enabled if you want at least to feel what FFB is supposed to be.
It seems some fanatec users can't disable separetely friction/damper and therefore they have the full FFB as it was meant to be, while most logitech users miss some effects as they have disabled friction/damper in profiler.
In game, use 360 degrees lock, as all cars default setups are made for a wheel with 360 degrees....if you use 900 then you need to change steering lock in car setup but it is often not available. So the easiest is to keep 360 degrees lock in controler setup screen.
Here is a very minimal mod which makes tyres less floaty, without being intrusive. AI seems to cope very well with it, and I have good driving sensations with it. It does not change grip levels or anything important, just make the tyres react quicker to steering movements.
Extract the two .bff files from this archive, and place them in Pakfiles folder in your shift install. Backup your two original files before.

Sorry to change the topic slightly but is there anyone with a wheel actually able to drift? I'm close to loosing my rag with it. The racing is great now I have unchecked let game change ffb setting, much more feel. But the drift seems completely impossible to me.
