i dont play enough racing games to warrant the cost of a wheel, theres probvably only 2-3 race games worth buying every year anyway so meh

I generally don't my G25 gets put away for months mainly because I use it in front of my living room TV and there is know were to leave it, This is the first time in ages its come out and stayed out, Sod the mess it makes!

Its worth the money just for this game! You wouldn't regret it! get on ebay for a G25!

i saw you beat my huayra time and tried the radical i couldnt get below a low 42 second lap..

you should buy a huayra and give it a works kit i bet you could get a low 40 or better

Yeah will probably do that next time I'm on.

I Fraps'd a Nordschleife run in the Mclaren MP4-12C last night think it was a 7:24. Not figured out how i'm gonna get it on you tube yet, the 1080p file was 11gb and the 540p is 3.59gb.

reencode it in handbrake or h.264 encoder.

my brands hatch 1080 lap was 1.6gb raw and 100mb encoded with some compression.

HI, how this game is comparing to GRID?

GRID is probably my favorite racing game, will be using with G25, does shift 2 has full support?

I'd say if you liked GRID you will probably like this. I prefer this over GRID just because it drive much less arcade like. I am using G25 and you just have to make sure the game isn't controlling the FFB then its fine. There are some tweaks and settings out there to make it all better though.

Great, went from keyboard/ gamepad to G25,.. once you learn to drive with G25 it is so much easierand fun!

however you can't reprogram buttons in game's settings like in DIRT2.

Cool thanks, I have grid on steam but not currently installed, will have to give it a try!
Loving dirt2 with the G27, got a slight issue when I ALT-TAB out of the game when I come back to it the controls default back to the keyboard rather than the G27, but apart from that it's lots of fun. I recently got Shift2 but haven't tried any of the mods yet, but i'm enjoying the racing.

You can change buttons in game, I altered a couple last night.

Can't post settings of G25 as not at home, they are all over the web though, you can tweak them how ever you like.

Don't just test one car in the game though as I have realised that every car seems to have different FFB strength, maybe depending on if its a road car or race car etc.

Does anyone else get wildly varying fps on different tracks for no apparent reason?

Some tracks perform badly for me, but compared to the ones that perform well, theres no discernible difference in details or anything?

OR I just get random low framerates, someone said the game has performance issues with ati cards.

PS when can we expect a patch?

All pretty much the same for me, I did have one track yesterday which slowed down a bit at one point of the track every lap but I can't remember which track it was.
