Need for Speed: Shift 2: Unleashed

If you have NV Inspector change the SLI mode for Shift 2 to AFR2. Alternatively (although I haven't tested this with a patched retail copy) - renaming shift2u.exe to AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe should fix both SLI/Crossfire scaling while you wait for driver updates, once you've installed the patch.

Quick question - Is the handling in 1.01 better than juls mod?

Is it worth trying 1.01 without juls mod to see which I prefer?

1.01 overwrites juls mod anyway acording to what i read , i havent bothered reinstalling juls, feels the same as before wiht juls to me, i think the guy got all the sites to remove his mod anyway because people were complai ning it wasnt fair in online races or something

Sorry but that's just devs just being idiots for not implanting an anti-cheat system, any game with online play needs an anti-cheat system fullstop.

Is there any news on anyone being able to import cars on this game?

I would love to be able to play around with the new Vauxhall VXRs or do up a Caviller or something.

someone made a VW fusca or whatever its called but otherthan that it takes so much effort and no one has managed to make any good tools for extracting/importing files yet.

theres no -loose in shift 2 either its so hard to mod i dont think we are going to see much more than whats already out.. noones figured out how to add new tuff eithert only how to overwrite cars that are already in the game so to add something you have to loose something...

one of the devs said how you do it with nvidia inspector, aparently its something nvidia need to do in the drivers rather than a patch in the game

Anyone here got their shift2u.exe in compatibility mode? I have, 'Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7', otherwise the game doesn't get past the first screen. Mine is through steam. How stupid is that, to have to put a new game into windows 7 compatibility mode.

Only thing that ****es me off in this game is that if AI cars hit you they barely spin off yet it decides to **** your car off 180 degrees.
