Netflix: Drive to Survive

As a neutral it is really sad to see how delusional he is. As a brit it is embarrassing to see how well a German conducts himself under pressure in comparison. Horner absolutely has short man mentality.
Who's the German? Wolff is Austrian and Steiner is Italian :p

It's obvious now that RB and Horner are the very reason we are in this FIA Mess, Horner has always acted like a spoilt man child. It was only when the FIA aired the team bosses radio messages (A fairly recent thing) that other teams realised what a whining manipulative git Horner is.. He's been doing that for years, and so now you get Wolff etc who now think they have to also use this channel to start countering things and its cringeworthy to see.

Red bull pretty much are the antithesis of sporting, Horner seems to only be able to hate, and his constant "well 'eff 'em up" kind of talk is pitiful to watch.. I think Suzie Wolff nailed it, there is being competitive but you don't need to be an a-hole.. :)

They seemed to leave out red bull negotiating with masi as to whether max Starts 1st 2nd or 3rd I'm Saudi Arabia. That whole race segment seems to be edited to not make the fia look bad

My memory is terrible, but didn't Lewis have a crazy weekend with sprint race and race where he basically overtook everyone? Didn't they miss that out too?
Yes, Brazil. Probably the greatest drive over a weekend ever in the history of the sport. Didn’t happen according to Netflix

Season 5 is back on the 24th Feb. good to see Max is onboard this season too.

I didn't watch it last season and I won't watch it this season. Too many false narratives and while slickly produced and directed they have a habit of picking the easy option. Last season for example, not a thing about Raikonnen retiring after years and years and being Ferrari's last WDC. They just miss far too consistently. I predict some of the major events last season like the vehicle on track in Japan won't even be mentioned and they will fawn over Verstappen like adoring fan girls and you8 won't hear anything bad said about him or his driving at all. Likely one of the demands or RBR for taking part.

Quite a lot of posts from you hating on dts for someone that never watches it.

Bit weird.

Since Horner took up approximately 50% of airtime on previous DTS seasons, does that mean we'll get another 50% of Max now he's onboard? They might as well rename it the Red Bull show. I doubt I'll watch it this year. For that reason and the fact it was a pretty boring season season that I have no interest in revisiting!

I used to, up to season three. It’s just so saccharine sweet, never hits any punches, only really hits the points Liberty want to make the series look good. Max will be shown as the best driver ever and the whole series and presenters will fawn over him like he’s the second coming.

It's naked promotion, rather than journalism, so I'm not sure what you expected from it? Personally, I've enjoyed the seasons so far so I look forwards to watching the new season. It makes a nice starter to whet one's appetite for the coming season.

Last years season was almost as dull as the years where Vettel or Schumacher dominated. As someone else commented, I have no wish to revisit such a dull season.

I think I share the sentiment of many here. I won't be watching. Didn't even finish last season's. People will lap it up for sure as it'll be full of drama and false narratives to make it all jolly exciting.

Don’t forget the pandering to Max and Red Bull. I’m absolutely sure not a bad thing will be said about Max or RB. I doubt even the Max and Checo incident where Max refused to move over will get a mention.

Is this worth watching?

I quite like f1 despite its flaws but for TV I almost never watch documentary type TV apart from wildlife.

I mean over 90pc of what I watch is fictional.

Seems to get mixed reviews
