Great to hear. Got mine next to me unopened. Won't be able to set up till after work. Have you had a chance to look for backlight bleed?

Backlight bleed isn't really an issue, but you doo get 'some' IPS glow in the corners - how bad it is varies - mine for example is only noticable if I put up a jet black screen, or if watching a film with letterbox 'black' borders,you can see it a little bit then, as its not jet black.
 
Just got it set up (couldn't wait). Defo a customer return, had been taped up again with competitor branded tape. Screen was a bit greasy with a spot of dust on it, not the greatest start. However, once all plugged in everything appears to be in order. No scratches, no dead pixels. No bleed, usual glow (i'm going from IPS to IPS so no issues). Looks like if i've gnabbed a bargain providing nothing goes **** up! Could have done with the 3 year Dell Warranty, but 1 year RTB will have to do.

This is kind of what I did by accident.
After ordering one of these with the best discount I could find (8%), I then got a 15% discount code, but was unable to cancel the first order before it had shipped.
So for a day I had 2 of these monitors, but returned the most expensive one, I hope one of you guys gets it at a discount because there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
 
How frequently does this monitor restock? seems like an ideal monitor for me as I'm going to give my old Dell S2716DG to my girlfriend, it was a monitor I really liked.

Frustrating that everything PC related seems to be out of stock at the moment. One downside to this monitor is that it doesn't have internal speakers. I know that most people won't use them but I hate using headphones for casual listening to things like youtube videos. Has anyone out there tried the ViewSonic Elite XG270QG? Seems to be identical specs except you lose freesync/HDR and gain internal speakers. Quite a price difference though!

Spend 100 quid more that the discounted price and get it from germany.

Monitors that have speakers are low end monitors or of poor visual performance. This monitor does need speakers.

Mine has landed today. Ordered on the 15/10 estimated delivery on the 23/11, pretty good really. Couple of dents on the box, hopefully it is well packed.
Can't look at it until later but fingers crossed it is a goodun.

Even the DHL driver was asking questions on prices and specs.:)

Glad to hear all is good!

Mine on the other hand is still in production going round and round in circles on a conveyer belt somewhere in China... :rolleyes:
