New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

I’ve honestly got no clue what’s going on at Dell. They randomly refunded my original order but it’s still showing as ‘in production’, people who ordered late October skipped straight to the front of the queue etc. Funnily enough mine too was £330 so could potentially be the reason why, however I doubt they’d be that fussed over £20 a unit.
 
It seems to be based on when you ordered as far as I could see initially, Seems that if you ordered after the 2nd Oct but before 14 Oct you are essentially missed and left in Limbo and no matter how many calls you make to their absolutely abysmal CS service (the useless ***kers should really all be sacked as they are about as useful as a dead parrot) they are unable to either answer sensibly or even follow up with an email. I've phoned them now 3 times been told to expect a follow up email on both the later occasions within 24hrs and both times they've done F all. Even their order status service doesn't work, The automated phone call is telling me to expect the monitor by the 21st Oct !!! , the website is telling me Dec 17th and the 'helpful' CS rep on the phone told me to expect by 7th Nov - Dell are an absolute joke

EDIT - If anyone did order the DFGA model and it arrives please post on here - I just had a text conversation with Dell sales and they were pushing me to cancel the DGF order I have outstanding and order the DGFA model - Of course this would mean I would lose both the discount I got the original order on plus the compensation they have already agreed to pay due to how badly they've messed up (so for me the DGFA model would cost me over £50 more).

On a call with Dell right now to find out what's going on.

edit: ok well that was quick. I've been told the monitor will arrive on the 12th of November, which correlates with the shipping information if I add the revised 'A' edition to my basket and check out. I asked if I should cancel and order the revised model, and was strongly suggested not to as the problem is, apparently, due to their carriage team. He's passed on feedback.

I received an email shortly afterwards containing the order number, which pointed at an internal Salesforce site that I can't access. Excellent. I figure the real UPS shipping email will arrive today or tomorrow.

I ordered yesterday and status says Confirmed on their site, no shipping info yet but it says estimated arrival 11th so fingers crossed. At least it will be here and ready for CP2077 :)

I had been refunded my money after the unit arrived at my door - I have no idea why.

I was trapped as ordered on the 5th Oct. I put an order in last Thursday for 2 of the A variant. They’ve shipped. Now in the uk and due Wednesday. Though I’d be surprised if they don’t make it to me tomorrow.

Yes same for me. I had ordered the 2721DGF which gave a date of 5th January 2021 so it was a no brainer to cancel that and try to get the S2721DGFA model which apparently has an early delivery date. Will have to see what happens on Wednesday if it doesn't arrive. Wasn't expecting such huge delays on a flippin monitor :confused:.

Same l cancelled the order for the non A also
