New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

It can happen very quickly. My order status hadn’t changed. Then overnight I got an invoice and the shipping info. So fingers crossed for you all. Mind shipped from the Netherlands overnight.

Delivery on this dell is showing as 12/11 for me if i order now... it's either a pair of these @ £350 each after blue light discount or a pair of the LG 27GL850's but they aren't available until ETA 27/11/20 ...... but reading the stories of yours and other's delivery woe's i'm not sure if i should pull the trigger on the Dells. I'm not in a rush.. just need pre- Christmas delivery.
 
I am hoping we might know more tomorrow. Mine is still showing as in production and was due to ship today (revised). I think there are a few of us anticipating a delivery on Weds. Whether my order changes overnight; its not looking good to be on time for the 11th.

As @Axil mentions, it looks like a few of us who ordered between a specific period fell into a blackhole. Hopefully we'll be able to post some positive news tomorrow. :(

I don't mind waiting if the date is honoured, even if it were say, later this month. Personally its the dodgy ETA's which is frustrating and not knowing if the order is proceeding okay.
 
I haven't cancelled my order for the DGF yet as I had mine for 331 and they've already offered me a further 10% off in compensation so total cost would be 300 for me. I'm in the situation that cancelling the DFG and placing a DFGA order puts me out of pocket of £50 (as I get the DFGA only for 350 ) and I still have no confidence in Dell delivering the DGFA on time as no interaction I've had with the company has given me any impression they'd actually like to treat their customers with any sort of curtsy and just constantly deflect.

As for the rotation it's exactly the same monitor and stand so there should be rotation -

EDIT: Lol I've just finally had an email response from the text chat I had with DELL sales today (I decided to go via Sales as the CS is rubbish and they've now given me a delivery date of the 08/12 - I'm just waiting for the expected Service satisfaction email

Well, I've just pulled the trigger on a pair of the DGFA's with delivery supposedly being via UPS for 12/11 I'm sure my son would have preferred the flashiness of a ROG type display but the reviews and apparent performance on these dell units appears to be incredible for the price.... he will have to live without RGB on this occasion :D

I suspect there will be no delivery this week. The estimated ship date was yesterday so they either haven't updated their system or they didn't receive the shipment to despatch. Whoever works in their logistics department needs to be sacked.
 
I just got a notification that ship date has been revised from 9th Nov to 11th Nov with delivery on 13th, we'll see if it does actually ship tomorrow.
 
Been put off buying Dell for a while after this whole saga, guess we just keep our fingers crossed for the 13th... I’m cautiously hopeful
 
You 'd think their logistics would be top notch but it looks like they have some cowboys working in that department. If there is no stock then why are they still taking more orders?

Because they'd rather string you along, hoping you wait 'just a little longer' until they actually can fulfil your order, than just say "Out of Stock" and loose your custom to something like that LG.
