I'm not going to get the chance to set up the monitors today. but rtings has this on their review page:

We tested the Dell 27 gaming monitor S2721DGF, which is the only size available, but there's an S2721DGFA variant with native G-SYNC support, but it's only available in Europe.

So I hope g-sync works, the box however only mentions AMD Freesync

I am currently on a laptop so I cant check with the display cable. I brought this one to future proof since I will be assembling a gaming system next year once the launches have cooled down. I dont see that option in control pannel so I thought maybe its my old laptop not supporting it. There is no mention of gsync anywhere on box. But its there on their website.

Which GPU does your laptop have?
 
Order delayed again ... screw it, pulled the trigger and cancelled. Picked up a LG27GL850 from currys since its on deal anyway. Hopefully that moves one of you forwards in the queue!

G-Sync only works with DP.

HDMI 2.0> will generally support VR interfaces.

I honestly can say I will not be buying anything from dell again, unless it's a cracking deal. First world problems to the extreme but this entire process has been beyond a joke. The fact I had 2 e-mails saying to be in between 9-6 because they can't give me a decent time slot for it not to delivered or an attempt even made it's ridiculous. I don't actually even think DHL had it.

On the dell order page it says it was delivered on the 28th (when they charged me).

I can get a pair of the Lg's at the takeaway for £633.93 with applicable discount.. the Dell's cost me £702.... i really am thinking about cancelling the dells... but the refresh rate and freesync premium pro still make them the better screen.. plus the 3 year warranty are making me really hesitant to cancel with dell.

144hz / 165hz is unoticeable ... everything else, fair play. I'm just not convinced on the FA model. It has no reviews.
