Haha everyone comes to Plec!

Right so I've accessed BIOS. Confirmed to me that it had been reset due to me clearing CMOS. I set optimised defaults. What is interesting now is my RAM are defaulting to 3200 2933!

It has booted up fine.

Actually after I set the XMP profile it is now reading 3200 3200!

As I save and exited the bios it did a boot loop of 4 or 5 times and finally booted on the 6th..

Will try that. Gave it a go last night. Pretty much the same as the 1600 on PubG and DayZ but somehow felt a bit smoother. Them games haven't been properly optimised yet though so not fair to judge. Someone told me on reddit that they have a X99 i7 and only get about 30-40 in major cities so yeah.

I'm worried about shipping this CPU, want to make sure it's as secure as it can be. How would you do it?

I did see that but it slightly scared me watching it haha. I've gone to the local computer shop. They have given me the plastic case a CPU comes in. Will that be enough? Will wrap it in bubble wrap as well.

Went for a small box padded with bubble wrap. All done. Shall I send it first class recorded or? Is there a better way.

Yeah not worth it. Playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Been lovely and smooth apart from one lag spike. Averaging 30-80FPS on ultra, don't know if that's the norm or not.
