Shall I put the new RAM back in while I'm at it or do I have to wait until I've reset the BIOS?You need to get a screwdriver - reasonable size head that's clean (sounds ominous )
Just behind the F-Panel Header (where all your wires for the case plug in) - you'll see 2 pins sticking up with the words CLR_CMOS written behind them.
With the PC unplugged and depleted of power (press power switch when off) - then touch the 2 pins together (shorting) for a few seconds.
Then plug everything back in, and switch on - go to BIOS and load factory defaults - save and exit.
