If anybody is interested, the apple store on regent street had ipod nanos (new ones obviously) in today. Had a play and all the fuss about it being the fatty is way off in my opinion, you need to hold one to see how tiny it is, different shape sure but it's tiny and i can see it being every bit as popular as the previous one. The interface is really good too, i expected coverflow to lag a litle bit on such a low powered platform but it works pretty well to be honest...

I emailed the Regent Street store today, and they said they've already sold out of iPod classics!

I'm getting mine from America in October so I save 70 quid on the Touch, basically a 16Gb for the price of a 8Gb. :cool:

Yeah but don't apple website say something like ready to be shipped on 28th September.IIRC it takes about 2weeks for apple to deliver. Although you probs can get it in other places on the 1st October...

My ipod mini took 1 or 2 weeks to deliver as I got it engraved,it came from China I think.Things may have changed now.

Regent street has classics in now just letting you know.

I'm going to Bluewater tomorrow so if they have any classics in stock I will let you guys know.

Saw the classics at Regent Street, they only had silver 160Gb ones on display though. The Nanos are amazing though, so small, much smaller than you would imagine. I also love the new menu system, wasn't too keen on it before.
