Firmware update is such a quick thing I recommend getting that done first anyway, it really is easy if you have a usb drive handy. Other than that I personally use the default colour settings, brightness i tweak depending on light in my room, and I'm also not using adaptive sync, or any sync, on this monitor, despite using it on my old one (Though I seem to be almost alone in that, as I'm sure you've seen over the last few pages). I just use 240hz and 'fastest' response time (not MBR). HDR depending on the game, is really nice for a HDR600. Division 2 for example, looks absolutely amazing in my opinion. I only enable HDR in windows sometimes, as some games require that for them to detect the monitor does HDR, but other than that I leave it off. Think thats about it?Hi Guys,
Got my 32 waiting for me when I get back from work at the weekend. Didn't buy with OC due to wait list but have purchased plenty from them in the past.
Have looked at the suggestions from you guys that have one with regard to settings over the last 20 pages or so but wanted to check now that you've had them a bit longer what are your pointers on settings off the bat without firmware update. Will do that in time but want to get home Saturday and get gaming.
Thanks

Just been in touch with Samsung UK about the G9, Apparently they are still under QC check & the representative was unable to say when they are being released. I saw a few people on Reddit have had their orders cancelled directly from Samsung and given $50 compensation but not sure if this effects UK orders in any way.
Im running the one off the Korean site now. Works fine and still English UI etc. Many thanks bud, got a 16GB flash drive at the ready, did you use the Korean firmware or the one off the main site? Cheers for the settings.

Thanks for that Robbo. That has changed from when I spoke to them last week. Going to be a long wait I think.
