** NEW SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G7/G9 MONITORS 27-49" AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER **

It's a EXE with Windows drivers for monitor, if you want just search for Odyssey G7 drivers page on Samsung website at home..
It had changed model for my monitor in Device Manager's properties from Generic PnP Monitor to G7's code name and enabled 240Hz refresh rate when I was looking at settings for it..

LOL, so this worked, changed my monitor name in device manager from Generic PnP monitor to the G7......until I restarted, now its a generic PnP monitor again.

I love this monitor, but these problems are making me want to return it. Silly little things like the resolution, the screen taking AGES to even turn on when I turn my PC on.....

"Kusel1: you can edit the freesync range with CRU on the 27 inch g7 from 40-240 hz
but you need to change the V rate and the H rate togheter or your nvidia driver will crash
also the Extentsion Block

after that you will have a freesync range of 40-240 hz and a smooth flicker free nvidia pendelum test"

I’ve noticed on Nvidia Control panel that it doesn’t recognise my monitor as G Sync Compatible and also whenever I change my colour settings from 8 bit to 10 bit, once I restart the PC, it goes back on 8 bit again. Anyone else have these issues?

Not sure why some get that as mines has always been seen as G-Sync Comp even out the box on 1002 or 1003 FW and before the recent driver and previously the hotfix driver.

What build is yours, mine sin FB02 which AFAIK is May 2020 (rear sticker near barcode)?

I see no difference apart from size and Nvidia driver needing to identify it by full model name probably the reason for officially support being different driver builds for 27" and 32"
