** NEW SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G7/G9 MONITORS 27-49" AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER **

All these damn bezel problems have me worried, got a first gen G9 (FA01) with no problems yet, but keep expecting something to go wrong at some point, just gotta keep my fingers crossed I guess ;)
On a good note the new 452.06 and 1005.4 firmware have got rid of any flickering in G-Sync, even at 240Hz :)

I'm still very keen on the G9 but will probably need to tie in with a new PC build, as I'm not sure my 1080 would get the most out of it. Hoping the issues will be ironed out by then. Been keeping an eye on stock direct, but none has ever appeared.

LoL, this is comical, listening to people speculate about how best to try "hot fix" their poor QC, shoddy quality products with "glue and duct tape" etc etc.....

From what I can see, and this is from a guy in direct sales who preaches this day in day out, and believe it to be true!, the phrase "you get what you pay for" simply does not apply to the monitor market, it must be one of the very few product markets where cost does not equate to quality, does not matter what you pay, it is literally a lottery.

What resolution is this? I mean at 5120x1440x240Hz, gsync doesn’t actually work. At least not on my 2080Ti.

Run the Nvidia Pendulum Demo, you will not be able to check the G-Sync box if it is not working anywhere (monitor settings or NV CP settings).

Anyone with the G7 use it alongside a second non-curved monitor? I did for a while and it made my non-curved monitor distort when I looked back and forth between them. Anyone else had this and seen it subside over time?
