Hi guys, interested in getting the G9, however I got seriously burned with the CRG49 in that I had 5 of them, each one had a fault. Samsungs QA is seriously lacking. Hope this time will be different.

Anyway, according the Samsung they are back in stock, got an email from them about 20 minutes ago stating this. Just thought I would let people know.

Noticed after proper use tonight, white backgrounds...multiple dead pixels on the g9.

That one now has to go back.

That sucks - the QC from Samsung is appalling. Like I said above, I got 5 CRG49's and each one had a fault. The only reason I carried on was because of the visual fidelity and immersion I got in my games.

All these faults are worrying, I keep expecting mine to go wrong at any time, for now all is working great, awesome picture BTW guys when it's working, I hope anyone that has the G9 is still experiencing trouble free monitor as I am, for now anyway

Still waiting on my G9 to arrive nearly 3 months still pre order haha!. I've got my eye on a 3080 too! is the 24th for Founders edition only or for 3rd party cards too? quite fancy a White Galax 3080 if they are released.

3090 is on the 24th, 17th for the 3080...FE and AIB versions should launch at the same time.

Its a bugger for sure. Been a real adventure. Spent months waiting for a pre order from one retailer, then gave up with that. Jumped on one from another retailer, which turned out to be a stock error, got refunding for the payment. 2 days later another one appeared, bought, arrived, faulty

So back she goes. It does appear a lottery with these - I have 4 (5 with this) Samsung displays in this house and all are fine, apart from this Odyssey G9. I had a CRG9 before this and that was fine too. This not so good at all

LC27G75TQSKXKR Product 1007.1 Modifications are as follows.

1. Occurs when changing from the'fastest (MBR)' mode of response speed to another mode
May flicker improvement.
2. Correction of dash board display for response speed when Freesync ON
3. This is an error correction for brightness setting when setting response speed in MBR mode.

1007 made my monitor really bright (had to turn it down a good bit) also gave me flickering in the NV Pendulum Demo for 1st time ever.

Going back to my paltry 27" LG is going to be tough, might dig out my Samsung 32" and sit them side by side.

I'm clinging on to the knowledge that perfect G9's do exist and people do have them, so surely we'll get good ones........eventually at least!

Interesting, think I'll hold off on that for now. I'm running the previous Korean f/w (1006.2 I think) and have no issues. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Do you have a copy of 1006, I can only find 1005 so will rename it then flashback to it then flash to the good KR1006.

I am not the only one saying it was too bright, I like the others on reddit had to turn brightness setting right down a good bit and did so right now again as it looks like over-bright HDR (HDR is off).

Check NV Pendulum Demo, background esp right side of pillars.

And was your screen massively brighter at same settings?
