New Site Feedback

Just realised how annoying it is that the manufacturer names are in tiny fonts vs the product names/codes...

This becomes really irksome in the graphics card/motherboard sections if, for example, you like and trust a specific brand, but have to pick it out amidst the three dozen other things that use the same chip(set).

I appreciate there's the filter at the top (which is actually more versatile than the old dropdown) but... I kinda miss being able to browse and know what I was looking at :S

Not read the whole thread but one complaint I had on the old website that I was told would be fixed on the new one is being able to filter cases by what size motherboard they take.

I've been after an ATX cube case for ages but yet to see one I'm willing to buy (waiting for proper usb type c on them now), so while it is great you've now separated out cube cases, there is no way to filter to just view ones that take a full ATX mobo from all the mATX etc.

After the normal 3 or 4 minute wait I have managed to post this.

Why start a thread asking for posters to report bugs and when they do ignore them and fail to respond because the problems have overwhelmed them.

The new site puts me off buying from OcUK tbh. It's an assault on the eyes, and not in a good way.

It now looks similar to a lot of your (worse) competitors. Amateurish. It's like the website equivalent of those cheap tacky GAMING OMG STRIPES AND ANGULAR LINES cases for £15.99.

I think it was a mistake to roll this out so quickly without doing bug testing/feedback separately first.

My gut feeling is its a 3rd party that will need to fix the bugs. If that's the case I expect each bug we post has to reproduced, then logged as a ticket. Then depending on the SLA agreement with the 3rd party then maybe we'll get feedback. I expect they are doing this on top of the normal job role. At the end of the day the better the SLA the bigger the cost. So I don't mind "Best effort" if it means less impact on pricing.

Any everyone saying "just put the old site back" I expect the data was migrated. If they went back to an old back up all the orders placed would not be on the old system. But again that's just a gut feeling.

No way I could find to browse storage drives by size. This new layout could take a while to get used to :(

I have to press more buttons now to find what I want, hardly a good thing surely?

Thanks for the feedback. This has now been added to SSD & HDD.

Not a bug really, but my eyes do not like this:

I just can't follow the lines across.

Thanks for the feedback. We will get it sorted.

Maybe I was imagining it, but didn't the old site have "RMA Status" somewhere under the account details?

Can't for the life of me find it on the new look...

Sorry, this feature is not available on the new platform. We ware working on an even better online RMA feature :)

why don't you show exVAT prices anymore? Not that you'll really care as it was no benefit to yourselves unless i ordered from you.... but i used to use your website as one of my comparisons for component prices for work but now everything is incvat only :/

Sorry, the new platform is designed for consumer and VAT has to be included. I am thinking to add a toggle in future for business customers. Thanks for your feedback.
