It’s equally as embarrassing to release it. Considering current feeling I’d be surprised if they go ahead with it.
You would have thought that but KK is doubling down. Thought Disney was reigning in on the budget after their recent failings.

How many Star Wars films have been announced and yet are currently on some form of a "development hold"?
I can think of 8 including this one but I'm not 100% how much of a "hold" is being applied by the studio vs "we've no idea whats happening" instead TBF -

Prime example why I despise companies announcing things so early as in some cases they don’t end up happening plus what’s point it’s doesn’t build hype when there is potentially 5 plus years wait

Oddly that was one I was actually interested in, having really enjoyed the novels & the X-Wing Vs TIE fighter games and I could imagine it a bit like "Top Gun in Space" etc
However it looks like the directors Wonder Woman sequel flop seems to have killed off this film, just like D&D's GoT season 8 flop seems to have killed their trilogy & Ryan Johnson's TLJ flop seems to have killed his trilogy.@Jokester - Yeap its still happening, just some short (a few months) development delays prior to filming which starting back in June/July.
It was beyond awful how she was ever allowed to make that movie is baffling. It's on the same par as TLJ from SW.

I'm convinced KK has major dirt on half the higher ups in Disney, there's no way someone that incompetent would not only retrain her position for as long but still have the audacity to meddle after so many failures otherwise.
She knows where all the bodies are buried, no doubt. Like Leyse Headland.
