Next Graphics Card Drop for OCUK.. !

Sorry... "dai un pollice, loro prendono un miglio"

My Italian Google translate skills are a tad rusty. You give an inch, they take a mile... the meaning is self explanatory :D

I'm usually a lerker and never lost but the 3000 series got me posting.

Read all the posts here and I think the staff have done a good job given the lack of resources and the amount of jazz they are having to deal with #thecustomerisnotalwaysright ;)

Same here, cumpa'! I concur, staff are doing a good job and it's actually refreshing seeing them engage with us on the forums.

I have an EVGA 3090 FTW3 on order. It appeared as "in stock" when I pressed the buy button, but has not shipped yet... therefore I'm not confident it was actually in stock at all and I'm keeping my eyes open for the "right" card, since I'm destined to wait like everyone else.

And yes, good translation! In italian it's "gli dai un dito, si prende tutto il braccio". "If one gives a finger, they take the whole arm". Somewhat more gruesome than inches and miles. Perhaps in keeping with the Hnoured Society theme of the forums. :P

I've managed to get 4 RTX 30 cards over the last two months, either for myself, girlfriend and friends. These have been from various outlets - as long as you persevere and stay connected you'll get one!

Yes, find another hobby :D
Never!!!!!:D

I've been at this game for about a week now, I'm sticking by the hot lead @Gibbo gave this morning, not giving up!

It would be a massive help if he (assuming gender here) could at least post "sold out" memo on this thread once he knows his "3070 on ans off card availability" has sold out... at least then I can stop wasting my item and start a new hobby. I'm thinking of collecting stamps. Much less stressful than GPU fishing.

I just kept refreshing and boom "add to basket" came up! Went to checkout.. entered card details, and order complete!

Thank you so much Panny for believing in me. People, it can be done!

Maybe it was a test or it was the actual thing but did the gaming oc, vision oc and aorus master list for a bit? They were there and one refresh later they went

Never refresh a refresh! My friend and I got what we wanted. Should be delivered tomorrow! Thanks OcUK.

I keep putting them up but I only leave them up for 3-5 mins at a time. The 3D printer section works well because we've probably sold around 60 units in the drops so far today.

Whereas when a card goes live in the normal section they sell at a rate of 100+ per minute, so the 3D printer section works well as there is generally very little to zero traffic sat in that section. Also because I don't leave them live for long I think helps prevent any discord, scripts, bots time to discover them, whatever it is this is the best solution so far.

I shall make more available throughout the afternoon for those who missed out and yes it is mainly the Gigabyte cards.

Your dedication to help customers is unquestionable and unparalleled to other competitors.
Thank you, Sir. May your months of customer service be easy on your hairline. God speed.

To be fair, a lot of the Discords etc. I was signed up to haven't pinged so something must be working...

Yep this way simply works for us, yes its not easiest for you guys but it increases your chances considerably.

In the regular sections if I put anything live 1050Ti upwards, they sell at a rate of 100+ per minute, all individual orders to different people.

I decided to subscribe to a few of this alert bots some weeks ago, and I haven't even seen the cards and got no warnings either, so it seems it works, at least for the alert systems I'm using myself.
