Who knows, maybe a reaction to imminent arrival of Samsung S5 and HTC One 2. Defo wouldn't be the Nexus 6, as that isn't dropping till June.
Yeah I agree with that. For me its all about stock andriod. If a s5 Google edition comes and the phone is good I will import one.
Better still a note3 with stock andiod. Hmmmm tasty.
Either way I hope the Google edition phones come to the uk

Price is not the same as value, the S5 well have a lot of things some people well find worth it. For me it is better headphones/speakers, and a AOMLED display which I sorely miss. If Samsung gets the software/build right and HTC stays true to the leaks I well more then likely switch to the S5 from my Nexus 5.
Not seen a single samsung phone with better build. They have better QC due to their huge scale and deep pockets off course.

But with a Note3 with stock you lose a lot of the great parts of it being so big, like multi tasking, the stylus is less usefully and so on, with that device I see a lot of benefit just sticking to the Wiz and theme around it. I'm sure you could reproduce most of the features with roms and the such but it could get tiresome.

Didn't say Samsung, but yes their quality control sucks too.
Apple is the best I would say.

what's poor about the nexus 5 build quality?
it certainly doesn't look or feel cheap, it may not be the best but to pay an extra £200-£400 for better build quality would be madness.
as for screens, i have my nexus 5 running a specific colour profile through frank kernel updater app, and it's now perfect. not as good as an AMOLED but it's brilliant and more than acceptable, it's certainly not a poor screen.
the only thing i would pay more money for is to steal nokias ridiculous supersampling 41 megapixel cameras
Interesting bug which I am sure has happened to me. I had voicemail the other day but nothing about a call in my call log. Plus the person that rang later told me the phone was ringing but I never answered.

Yes I have had this. Just thought it was because I was out of signal. Happened a few times.

That seems like a really bad bug, I have not experience any of that, camera focus is actual super fast now for me at least.

Yup - Manchester (Snipe Retail Park in Ashton) had quite a few of the Black and White in, even though they show as OOS on the website.

Cool, cheers. Like most towns there's about 4/5 CPWs within a 5 minute walk of work so might pop out at lunch tomorrow. I just ordered one from Amazon for £300 (with some vouchers hence not direct) so will cancel that if I manage to get one.
