do Nexus phones tend to get play updates quicker than other phones?

my wifes Nexus 5 just got an update for Whats App and no sign of it on my Note 3 yet

Nexus 5 has V 2.11.465
Note 3: V 2.11.432

no big deal just curious is all

bcmon - is anyone using this apk if yes what ROM/Android are you using? Or is it impossible on Nexus 5 due to the chip? :(
 
Guys, having a massive ghey problem with the play store. To be fair, now that I think about it, it's been happening for a while. I'm trying to purchase Plex for android. I have a Google Play balance, a card and PayPal linked, but no matter which one I select, I get an error:

Error while retrieving information from server RPC-S-7:AEC-0

I've google around and a lot of stuff says remove the account, re-add it, stop google play framework, servics, clear cache and none of them work.

Anyone else had anything like this?

Doubt it, my Nexus is still running 2.11.432. No updates showing in the Play Store either.

im still on V 2.11.432 on my nexus 5
checked playstore and its still .432 on there
 
grr does it annoy anyone else how opening the camera app goes to the last taken photo? I want my camera to be instantly usable when I open it. If I wanted to look at photos I'd open the gallery:confused:

Just tested mine and it goes straight to camera

depends how you enter the app in how it'll behave. if you're viewing photos after taking a photo go out and then go back in by selecting the app from the icon it'll go right where you left as it's still open.

if you go to the app from the lock screen it'll go straight to camera

this isn't just the camera app way to behave but all apps. if i for instance go to quickpic, share a photo by facebook and then leave the app. next time i come back into quickpic it loads up as though i'm using facebook as that's where i left it.

Mine doesn't, I take a picture, look at it then leave it running. Go back to desktop click camera again and it goes straight to camera not were I last was

How are you guys handling Flash being properly removed in 5.0? Neither of my browsers try to render something different, both Chrome and Dolphin want to display flash but can't. YouTube posts on here for example are just blank posts. Shouldn't it use HTML5 or something?
 
My wireless charger arrived today.

Smaller than what I thought it would be.

Does anyone else's make a slight buzzing/coil whine noise when the phone isn't on it?

Only charged it quickly so not sure how long it will take to charge from 20+ to 100% yet.
 
Yup it is a very faint beeping noise, don't think it is anything to be worth worrying about though... was just curious if other people noticed it.

What adapter are people using? ATM, I am just using my N7 2013 adapter + USB cable (longer than the one that came with it)
