Tried to sideload 5.1 using Wugfresh but couldn't get past the Android red exclamation mark screen. I had to hold down the power button and press volume up. Whether I did that for a split second, 2-3 seconds or longer the device either did nothing or restarted and booted up as normal.![]()
OK I managed to get a step further. I had a list of different instructions to follow. However I couldn't select any apart from the top one, the volume up/down buttons wouldn't work so all I could select was the power button to select the restart option.the way did it was, press and hold the power button and quickly tap the vol up button

Installation aborted.
OK, with a bit of faffing around and removing the phone from its cover I'm able to start sideloading.
BUT I've now got the update aborting. The error code is below. Any ideas?

It's telling you there is something not right about the contents of your package.zip file. Try redownloading it again perhaps.

Get the correct one
That's what I'm trying to do with Wugfresh.sideload?
That's what I'm trying to do with Wugfresh.
It's a cool little automated rooting/unlocking program. My PC recognises the phone OK as I used it to unroot and unlock my N5. Might have to do this manually but by the time I get around to that I'll probably have had the 5.1 update on my phone.I don't know what wugfresh is. Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
You can do 'adb devices' to check that your pc recognises the phone. If it doesn't, check device manager. You probably need the Google USB driver.
