Why was the ending stupid?

Didn't think the game was great, balls no calls on first two drives for niners, certainly second. Then the Rodger's 4th and 2 escape from sack with two massive holds giving 7 instead of 0 made the game a lot closer than it was in reality.

Eddie Lacy is a beast, would have loved him to come in and play along Frank during rookie contract then let Frank retire. That said we have Lattimore who could be the largest talent of the draft assuming his knees don't explode

FG in closing seconds to win a close game sucks in my opinion.

A poorly officiated 'let them play' game is worse, absolutely infuriating.

Was a good last drive to watch, Kaep workin dat magic and Gore being utilised well in a relatively poor game for him, not much ypc.

Don't think its a performance you can be too annoyed with tbh, did well still to be in it at half time, certainly not the rout it was last year.

Can't believe its taken all season to start and stick with LeGarrette Blount.

dat snap tho....

Great game though overall, glad I stayed up to watch it, bring on Denver!

Watched the 9ers last night too, quite a brutal game I thought. Panthers were insanely physical but I think it got to their heads in the end, making silly mistakes.

also, that celebration :D

Yep, Panthers got wrecked second half, 49ers kept their heads and the talent pulled through. Can't say I have a lot of time for the Panthers fan base after that, got on like a right bunch of haven't been there ***** during the game, shame I liked them before this game.

I'm on the same page as you I think. While the 49ers players did start retaliating later on, there's no need for all the smack talk In general. Celebrating after making big plays and tackling hard is fine, but the head butting etc. is daft!

I see the Panthers In a whole new light now. Far too cocky, and look where it got them.

Snoop Doggs son hits college next year. Apparently he's no4 rated wide reliever coming in and ranked 64 of all new college intake in all positions!

USC look most likely but about 4 other teams want him too. Mental.
