NFL 2016 Season

Would agree with this, if they think they can nail play offs then maybe switch him in but then if Dak gets them to play offs why drop him? YOu just commit and go for it for the experience he would get.

totally agree, if the rookie isn't doing to much wrong, i can't see a reason you'd swap romo in, especially as i think it will take him a bit of time to get back up to speed after being out for so long.

Not sure why they would put Romo back in if they reached the playoffs, he doesn't exactly have the best of records in the playoffs.

only reason i could think of was because of his experience, even tho his results haven't been great, but as i said they will have written this season off so why not just play the rookie unless hes not able to play, would make more sense in the long run , but this is jerry after all so who knows :D

As a Redskins fan I'm not overly worried about Dak... yet. The bigger concern is Elliot and the O-line, and of course Bryant.

A great win for us against the Eagles, although not having Sky sports (and being in a meeting until 8pm) I didn't get to see much of the game as even RedZone didn't seem interested in it.

I do now think back to Cousins pick he threw to Church which handed the game over to the Cowboys and wonder about how it would have been if he'd not and we would likely be 5-1 instead...

It does seem like the NFC was one of the weakest divisions a few years back, are they now one of the stronger?

**EDIT** Separate note, I'm going to Twickenham on Sunday, can anyone advise on parking in the area? Doesn't look good when Googling it.

I agree that the Cowboys should keep Dak Prescott to be the future QB, but I would still start a fully fit Romo over Dak. Experience matters in the 2nd half of the season, when you have weather issues and half your team are carrying knocks.

But the big question is Romo fully fit? Given the number of injuries he has had over the last few years, will he ever be fully fit? Then it becomes a much tougher choice. Is a 95% Romo better than Dak? Yes. Is a 80% Romo better than Dak? No.

As you might expect, this has become the biggest sports story here locally. It's led to many a heated debate.

I was, and to some degree still am, firmly in the Romo camp. That said, I can see no reason to pull Dak unless the wheels just start flying off the bus.

On a separate note, I'm impressed with the turnout for the Giants/Rams game in London. I knew there was some support for the NFL in the UK, but had no idea there was enough to fill a huge stadium.

I don't think I'd go to another at Twickenham. I bought parking on someone's drive but they basically closed ALL the roads. Traffic was ridiculous . They finally opened the roads (as we'd parked up a mile or so out and were walking) at 2:20pm, we missed most of the first quarter.

Was pretty nasty leaving too.

Just heading back from last night's game. Was a nightmare, stadium definitely wasn't geared up for the NFL crowd. I ended walking back to Brentford as the traffic was so bad.

Hawks / Cards OT was crazy

Neither offence got anything going all game but there were some pretty big special teams plays and errors

Don't see that kind of double FAIL too often.
Even the Cardinals kicker almost looked sorry for Haushka afterwards - although it was mostly relief

They fill them every game, good sized core fanbase in the UK now, only going to get bigger!

Good news. Just curious, but why the NFL over the CFL? (personally, I wish the US and Canada could find a way to play football together, after all we play hockey, baseball and basketball together.)

There's been talk for years that the NFL wants to put a franchise in London and in Mexico City (big fan base in Mexico as well).

As cool as it would be to have a team in London, I don't see anyway for the logistics to work due to excessive travel for the London team.

Good game, really enjoyed myself :)

Rocked up at Wembley with a hangover at 10am and drank from then on until we left at the end. Now back in a pub to have some good food and more beers, spot on experience.

Amazing game. So many things happening that could have swung the game one way or the other. As a Skins fan obviously I was disappointed we missed the FG and honestly feel we were the better team, but still thoroughly enjoyed the game. Can't believe Dalton fumbled that sneak...
