NHS=Negligent Health Service

The day of the scan and day after the lumbar was hurting more thats why he said go a&e.
Just finding it to be dragging on since iv been awake for ages now and no sleep.
Be peed if its a 10min check and they send me home
Not sure where to start with this one.
You will be disappointed, end of.

Been here over 13 hours now. I can understand why patients get violent with staff.

and then I have to get involved with staff who are trying their best :(

This is in Coventry so you get the regular drunk and fallen over types.

Around 40% of our A&E patients all involve alcohol, I don't think it's different anywhere to be honest.

Ok i got spinal stenosis and now they checking with neurosurgeon.
Also someone kicking off bigtime in a cubeicle can hear ****** and bliming throughout the hallway. Shocked how staff can work like that. Im getting examined and im the one who's asking is everything safe out there? Lol doctor carrying in like its normal. Said nothing to worry about police is just down the hall.
Man in the ward itself its worse than in the waiting room !!!

That definitely have to put up with some scumbags. Imo everyone that deals with that type of person should get paid danger money.

They just shouldn't have to deal with them. If you can't behave like a civilised person then no medical treatment. Simples.
Yea that's perfect world, not real world. Can you imagine the uproar I'd they just had a blanket ban, would be funny as I have a lot of respect for the people that put up with it, can't be easy.

But this can be a perfect world.

Just ignore the uproar.

You give no thought to why people become Clinicians in the first place, even when abused they will still try to help the patients.
If there was a blanket ban the first people to rise up against it would be Clinicians themselves.
This is why people like you and me could never have a job like that.

If you think it's out of some sense of nobility or the will to help others then you're unfortunately deluded.
Otherwise they'd all work for minimum wage to ensure that all the funding possible went in to helping patients.

They certainly wouldn't be like the consultant that lives two doors up from me and was complaining at the start of covid because he was expected to work for more than two days a week. You'll be pleased to know such hardships are behind him now and he's dropped to just one day. Those golf balls won't treat themselves you know!
He's in his late 40s for reference.

You are deluded, just remember I work in a Legal Department where we constantly deal with this stuff and in all cases the reports of the abused staff all go one way, Duty of Care to the patient.
Even when Coppers turn up they will still make it a priority to treat the patient.

You can want to help patients without accepting financial ruin. I expect nearly everyone able to do medicine could earn more money doing something else.

Minimum wage doesn't equal finacial ruin. Many people are expected to live on it, and do.

Where's the delusion from my part? They have masters directing them which way they have to go, that doesn't mean it's the way they want to go. I bet that they'd sharp find themselves in front of a disciplinary board if they didn't treat the patient.
I notice you've not actually addressed any of the points I made.

What points?

I'm not sure you have a point here.
Surprised you need this explaining. Sgf has implied that Dr's treat violent and abusive people because no matter what, the patient comes first.
I'm pointing out that's demonstrably false. That patients don't always come first. That Dr's only treat these vile people because it is demanded of them by their seniors.
