Received my Armat today , it’s a different smell than I’m used to but it’s nice, I sprayed a little on my arm and half hour later I got a whiff it as I went out to my car, this was in the breeze too! So I guess it’s pretty powerful stuff but not overwhelming where it stings your nose

Been a good few hours now and it’s still smelling like I’d just put it on

All in all for £25 I’m happy

Update, 7 hrs so far and still smelling it

it's not great but at £3 a bottle tbh it's amazing. however i'd say people are better off spending £9.99 and getting cool water from B&M. i think that's probably the best deal going or even joop for £9.99 out there.

i will use this stuff as a daily wear for sure though. just because of how cheap it is and it's decent enough.

I bought this because it was mentioned here fantastic stuff can still smell it now after a 12 hour shift

you'll still smell it in the morning, and your pillow will probably always smell of it....good job you like it lol

top tip: if you have an aftershave which doesnt last long, rub some vaseline around your neck before spraying. I have quite dry skin which is a pain for aftershaves. The alcohol content used in them is a drying agent so together with dry skin makes it a bit rubbish. Tried it with my crappy YSL and it did last quite a bit longer. Obviously if your skin is oily then don't do this ;-)

oh and don't do this with armaf, you'll be stinking of it for weeks!

nothing to do with dry skin. it's because it's infusing with the oil. oil doesn't evaporate but alcohol does.

bought a few from Perfume Parlour recently

today, im wearing Tuskan Leather which has a similar note to TF Tuscan Leather

Really nice, lasted 8 hours so far. Smells really strong when sniffing it from the bottle lid but once on skin and after 5mins, smells lush.

Just received Reyane Tradition Insurrection II which was recommended as a better alternative to that other Amazon £28 Creed-a-like, smells great for the price, just waiting to see how long it lasts now.

M&H update: all 4 frags smell nice, I seem to stop noticing them fairly quickly but hopefully they still smell nice to others throughout the day!

trying PP's Neroliz Portofeeno today, again really nice, not smelt the original though, 6 hours on and I can still smell it (only sprayed both sides of neck and wrists - 4 sprays)

same issue with every aftershave i'm afraid. you really need to have random people smell you throughout the day to see if it's still working or not.

I'm going to US and Canada next week so I might order some more when I'm there to get them cheaper.

With regards to perfume parlour, are you guys buying the sprays or the roll-on? I think I might sample a few that I wouldn't usually go for.

I tried to look on their site on the faq for the differences but it doesn’t say.

I went for the sprays over the roll on.

I’ve ordered 10ml genuine samples of creed aventus, smw and Viking to compare to the perfume parlour versions.

Bought some Dunhill Icon Elite, smells fantastic, I also got a 90ml shower gel and a 90ml aftershave lotion with it, all 3 came to £34.

Also ordered a couple fragrance I have had before to see how the compare. Hugo boss The Scent, whilst the genuine is pretty cheap it was purely for comparison. Spices and wood as well which to me is extremely similar which I love as creed spice and wood is one of my favourites.

Thanks for the info mate, useful to know about the comparison.

I’ve got 3 clones of aventus right now:

1. Perfume Parlour’s
2. Milton Lloyd Fame and Glory
3. Perfumer's Choice Victor Eau De Toilette (Amazon)

On skin they all smell slightly different so looking forward to seeing which ones is the closet to the real thing. Out of the three, Victor is the longer lasting one, the longevity is insane.
