Oh, word of warning about perfume parlour. There creed isn't as close as armaf, and some of their other aftershaves don't last five minutes. I have eight different ones from them and only spice bomb and green tweed last any lenght of time. Also, they tend to be a bit sticky and one of them gave me a rash and sore neck.

Thanks for the info I’ll give that Armaf a go see what it’s like. Think it’s about £25 on Amazon. Beats paying nearly £200 for the real thing which I stupidly used to do lol

I used to use ultraviolet a lot, and funnily enough, as the Aventus died off on my skin this morning (having put it on yesterday lunchtime, this does last a long time), it resembled Ultraviolet to me.

Found a bottle of Strong With You Armani this morning, and really like that. I can really smell it on myself just walking around. Quite sweet.

Interesting, will remember that if I ever try them. Which version of 'Aventis' did you go for with PP though? As they do both a smoky one that is supposed to emulate the older 13ZZ01 style batches and another more pineapple version that is like the current Aventus batches.

That's different. Old Spice is a classic.

To add, Joop Homme (the red one) has been over sprayed by teenage boys for years. Hence my hatred for it!

I used Joop about 20 years ago and wouldn't use it now, but then again I still like Cool Water, and that's been around for donkeys too!
 
Lots of people mentioning things in here that i would never wear now because they were just used by everybody in bars and clubs when I was 18

I can confess to having a bottle of Old Spice and even some Brut. I don't use them often but I always enjoy them when I do. :)

Haha, do it! I can't help grinning when putting it on and it's funny watching people who catch a whiff try to remember what the familiar but long forgotten scent is. Retro pongs are very entertaining. :D

There's a Brut Musk too which is also quite nice.
 
Put a couple of sprays of Mugler Cologne on this morning and I'm still catching whiffs of it just sitting here in the office :)
I think it's crazy how I can get olfactory fatigue with some scents, but not others

I remember taking an American girl out one evening, she was staying at my flat and I was in a rush to get ready before the taxi arrived as she's spent too long in the bathroom so I just grabbed an old can of deodorant from the cupboard and sprayed it on.

As we're leaving the flat to get in the taxi outside she says "oh what cologne is that, you smell really nice tonight"

I'd just sprayed myself with Lynx Africa :D I guess if she'd been brought up in the UK in the 90s then perhaps she'd have had a different reaction!
