*** Nintendo Switch ***

I purchased a few games recently. Disney Dreamlight Valley, Ooblets, TemTem, MotoGP21, Easy Red 2.

I haven't yet played Dreamlight Valley but mainly purchased for daughter.

Ooblets is such a fun and cute little game with some catchy music.

MotoGP21 was on sale and surprisingly plays well and looks decent too.

Easy Red 2 is a WW2 shooter, great game and fairly cheap.

TemTem, already owned this on Steam but wanted this on Switch. Currently playing coop with daughter which sadly just doesn't work. It works as intended but you can't just drift off and do what you want to do. You are forced to enter the same buildings, the same battles, the dialouge is controlled by whoever starts the conversation, so daughter keeps skipping before I even read what it says and you can even select each others TemTem during a fight!

It would have been nice if a. you had an option to join the battle or let them battle solo. b. each player had to press a button to advance text on screen. c. you wasn't forced to enter the same buildings as each other or even the same fights. I'll stick with it though for daughters sake but can't wait for Nuzlocke to be released.

i recently picked up a second hand switch for the cheaply sum of 80 pounds left blue joycon suffering from drift
started a repair today and 5 days later its back fixed foc , i had no receipt or proof of purchase.

What did you use as the purchase date? I still need to get my daughters fixed.

Few smiles in there for me, Pikmin 4/Goldeneye (amazed they got the licensing sorted) amongst them!
No Metroid news unfortunately.

For a console that isn't getting any younger thats a decent list of new stuff, I just wish they would actually release the Advance Wars 1+2 remake they delayed - could be tempted to buy a Switch again, sold mine when I picked up a Steam Deck but not thats gone I could do with a handheld again!

Tears of the Kingdom, May next year

Pikmin 4 :D

I might pick up Return to Dream as I really liked Forgotten lands.

As much I like Tales of Symphonia I don't think I will be picking it up but would recommend it for people that have not played it.

The original Goldeneye with online multi player, interesting!

Also can we now round and ban all the people from the internet that keep saying we are getting Wind Waker and Twilight Prince HD for the switch.

Away next year we may well get the game on two consoles as we have a recent number of Zelda games, when they get released close to the end of a consoles life cycle.

Really quite disappointed with Splatoon 3. Was hoping for a whole new game but it's essentially Splatoon 2 with a few new maps and the odd tweak, they've even got all the Splatoon 2 maps, weapons etc in there still.

There were early reports of split screen couch play but they ditched that too. Voice chat on the Nintendo app doesn't work either.

Feel a bit mugged off :(
