*** Nintendo Switch ***

Still waiting for Front mission Remake for the switch, checked it yesterday and its moved to November 2022! Damn it, missed the summer deadline completely.

I was happy that Dorfromantik finally released on Switch this week. Picked it up on release day, and it's got 10% off for a while.
Had looked at videos before but never played.
First couple of games I wasn't sure I was going to really enjoy it but then it started to click, completing the tile number quests, whilst keeping the landscape looking "nice". Very relaxing game, and great to play before bed.

I've never played No Man's Sky but keen to see how it's running on Switch.
I've taken the plunge and pre-ordered it, going away on holiday for three weeks on Saturday, so should be good to keep me occupied in my downtime. Let's just hope they've done a good job with the port.

As long as it's not super blurry like Outerwilds, I'll be happy, 30fps is not problem for me.

Nintendo Life have had hands on with NMS, seems very positive.

I'll apologise in advance for you having to listen to this incredibly annoying man.

Yeah, I saw this earlier and was going to post, it looks really promising if he is known to be trusted, I haven't watched any of his previous videos before

I saw a video with a guy who’d got it early on YouTube. It actually looks ok, if you’re going to play handheld. I don’t think I’d play this docked, but then I’d just play on PC or PS4 for that!

Definitely wanting to pick this up next week.

NMS is absolutely amazing on Switch, such a great port. First game I've pre-ordered for years, and the forth time I've bought it, and so pleased they put the effort into getting it onto the Switch - fantastic developer

No love for the new XCOM style Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of hope? Quite enjoying that at the moment.

I've only just finished the first 'World' and even though I am playing on the hardest difficulty I haven't encountered anything particularly difficult yet, but I have a feeling it could ramp up in later Worlds.

There's no game over wipe outs, nobody can die but there does seem to be a decent amount of strategy too it.

One of it's biggest strengths is the skill tree. You gradually unlock more 'points' to invest but you aren't ever locked in to a specific skillset. You can "refund" skills and place the points elsewhere before every battle if you wish. Sometimes you might want as many dashes as possible, whereas other times you might want better healing.

Anybody got Cult of the Lamb? I really want to pick it up on Switch but heard it's actually broken to where you can't do certain missions. This is according to Metacritic and Reddit.
