I'd be marginally more interested in seeing the dock than a case. Both are just about enough to get a 'huh, cool.' out of me and that's all though.
I just want 1080p 120fps. Don't care what it looks like.
I just hope they don't do a classic Nintendo and go back to LED screens for price saving.
I mean if they do it's fine. I'll just stick with my current switch to get my occasional fix I need and wait for them to release the proper version later on.

From the rumours we have thus far, it's looking like the 1st iteration of the Switch 2 will feature a LCD screen.
Yeah wouldn't surprise me. I'm not desperate to get one so happy to wait

No Oled no Buy, happened to me on Switch and Steamdeck, will wait for the proper release.
Just doesn't look any different or anything massively inspiring over the first one. Ill no doubt buy it and fix a million of them but yea it's just not getting me excited right now.

What nintendo have always done is deliver something a bit different. It's never been about the power of the device it's always been about doing something different. What they have done here is effectively make a steam deck / legion go. it's not a bad thing dont get me wrong... It's just not making me think "I need to have a play with that".
I think with how well the Switch did, they know people loved the form factor so kept that and just improved it.
Though last time they tried that it didn't work out Wii to Wii U. Think Swotch 2 will still be a big seller for them though.

The LCD screen (if true) is a kick in the teeth.
After having an OLED switch, despite the obvious hardware changes, this is going to be a downgrade.
It will probably mean that I spend most of my time gaming on it via the dock and my OLED TV.

To be honest I wouldn't mind if they launch two versions one with lcd and one with OLED, I'd go for the cheaper lcd one because I've owned my switch for 5 years and have never once used it in handheld mode, Inonly game docked on my TV, in fact if the Switch 2 had no screen I would be happy!
