*** Nintendo Switch ***

To be honest I wouldn't mind if they launch two versions one with lcd and one with OLED, I'd go for the cheaper lcd one because I've owned my switch for 5 years and have never once used it in handheld mode, Inonly game docked on my TV, in fact if the Switch 2 had no screen I would be happy! :D

Complete opposite, looks bloody awful on a TV and I never used the dock again lol. In fact I think I sold my original dock on here.

Yes it does look bad on a TV, due to the low resolution of Switch games, however I find the switch too big to hold it comfortably all the time - anything bigger than an iPhone is uncomfortable to hold for hours

Yeah it's not comfortable at all, weird flat design. However this changed when I got the something or other Retroflag controller that that screen goes in to.
Even with that I tend to rest it on something or my hands go numb.

Worst one by far I tried was the Nitro deck.

I actually find the Switch really comfortable to use, but agree about the NitroDeck - in theory it appealed, but hated it when I got one

I think the plus is on the wrong side, that is the minus side. The dock also looks a bit squished for the width of the handheld.

With all the leaks we have had, we know what the Switch 2 will look like and with 3D printing, someone with a bit of skill could put it together. Its certainly got some nice touches to it, the Nintendo logo on the side and all the legal stuff on the back.

Same, I'd love one with no screen to save a bit of money.

You would expect these to be launch games due to the time since they were released. Hopefully Nintendo brings back some other franchises, IE F-Zero and Starfox.
Agreed. By the time the Switch 2 launches it will have been 8 years since the last Super Mario 3D platformer ( remakes notwithstanding ), and over a decade since a new Mario Kart. Both are long overdue. Plus we know we're getting Metroid 4 at some point in 2025.

Got back into my Switch over the last couple of days. Trying to decide what to pick up. My housemate got me Super Mario Bros Wonder for Christmas which is great so I'm playing through that.

Hmm. Was just looking at the Nintendo website and quite a few games are sold out of physical editions. Is this likely just because of Christmas or because they are emptying stock for the new Switch?
