*** Nintendo Switch ***

I'm in two minds between a pro pad (which acctually looks quite nice) or a set of joy cons. Bloody expensive mind.

£75! I never thought that expensive. Wow. Then you have to get a grip seperate if you want to use it as one full pad. That is insane. £100+ for one pad. Nope. I'll buy a pro pad.

It's more on Amazon than the official store. I would have thought Amazon will adjust their pricing in line. It's still nearly £100. Not sure how that stacks up vs the competition (not directly comparable?), but vs 2x Wii remotes and some sort of charging dock, it's similar. (2x Joy Cons and a Charging Grip that is).

My order on Amazon.fr has the Pro controller reserved at 58.33 EUR with their price promise.

It's not. Anyone could have ordered for that price.

Pre-order early at Amazon de, fr and uk. Then as the prices fluctuate Amazon automatically lowers your pre-order price to match.

Then just cancel whatever orders end up more expensive before release.

I save 12% on top of that 58.33 EUR price.

It does cost Kree €400 to buy a loaf of bread though. So it's not all sunshine and rainbows where he is :p

That's bizarre. Did you do that a long time ago? I looked on the day pre-orders opened on the UK site and app and it was more than now.

The day they went up I put the pre-order in. I think it was up for 74.99 EUR at the time.

It's definitely not all sunshine. It was -13C with a few feet of snow last week!

Things like houses, vehicles and eating out (plus services in general) cost a bomb here indeed. Also don't get caught speeding: http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/driver-faces--1-000-000-speeding-fine/23091098

Came in here actually to ask what are people thinking of getting case wise? I had a quick look and I am not sure. Some people seem to say the Hori cases are good.

Likewise. I don't plan on buying one which can store the charger. If I am going anywhere which requires me to carry a charger I always have a USB charger with me anywhere, I'll just make sure a USB-C cable is in there :)

One which can hold some games as well would be great though.

Will see what comes out.

Now been confirmed that over 100 games are in development. Up from 80 a couple of weeks ago. Games could be crappy ones, but diversity (not the old old wooden ship) Is a good thing.

Would consider this purely for Mario karts and smash brothers however some of the pricing is ridiculous. £75 for a controller what ?

Nvm was skim reading this thread. £65 on amazon for a pro (still ridiculous) and £75 for joycons though I suppose they are a pair....

Also realised smash brothers will be a port with little detail and no release date.

I'll wait
