*** Nintendo Switch ***

I think people who play it and want to play it on the move will love it on the Switch. No?

I think they'll look at it and go "wheeey footbaaaalllll" and not give a rats if its not the frostbite version or whichever :p

This is where Nintendo are making a hash of this though. They claim it's a home console you can take with you, not a portable you can play on your TV. If FIFA was the same on the switch but I could take it with me, then I could buy that instead of the PS4 version.

What exactly would you be losing by buying it on the Switch as opposed to the PS4?

Like what does Frostbite bring that the custom version might not (legit question as I don't really follow that type of stuff)

Like my only concern is that I'll be more than likely be the only one in my group of mates to buy a Switch - the others will stick to their PS4's/Xboxes, so it makes sense for me to buy it for my One S. Which will then in turn hurt sales of the Switch version as I'm not going to buy multiple versions.

If it has UT and all the main features/teams are included, and it's just merely textures that we'd be losing out on, is that such a big thing?

Brave man asking such a question where to some the difference between 50fps and 60fps is a deciding factor :p

Haha, sorry! I guess I'm showing my lack of caring about issues like this.

To me I couldn't care less. 30fps or better is fine for me. Lower than that and it starts getting laggy!

30fps on a sports game that is about fast reactions? That would be horrible.

I wasn't specifically talking about Fifa. I was meaning in general.

Horrible orrrrrr what people have been putting up with(sub 60 FPS) before the most recent console generation and therefore fine?

And enjoying it. People seem butthurt about fifa

Personally I'm just not interested in sports games. Not knocking it or EA I just don't care for them.

Anyway, Switch. 3 weeks on Friday!

lets see

30fps sucks for FPS games

sucks for sports

sucks for racing games

True.

I have zero interest in FIFA for consoles though, looks way better on PC at 4K :D

Still hope they do a good job of it on Switch however, it would help with console sales IMO which is good for the rest of the people who own the console obviously. So as much I do not care for it, I want it on the console and want it to be done well :)

Sensible Soccer is still the king, you know it's true :p

Not into football/FIFA at all but am interested in NBA 2k18 as I like Basketball (used to play it a lot). 2k17 had some annoying gameplay issues though and 2k16 wasn't much better, hopefully they can get it back on track.

...and where is my 'next gen' Tennis game :(

Less of football talk. More Zelda.

So what games have people pre-ordered? So far none! I need to order Zelda. Maybe ARMS too. But i'd need another set of pads.

Nothing apart from the hardware.

There will be plenty of software everywhere, will pick it up the cheapest nearer the time.
