*** Nintendo Switch ***

i can't tell if you're talking about BF or the latest Zelda, a game designed for Wii U now available on the switch. A game reported to be complete-able in one day with i imagine very little replay-ability value.

Most games can be completed in a day, the producer of Zelda said you won't be able to 100% it in a week.

I don't understand why people are moaning about Wii U ports, I'm one of the few who bought one but as far as most of the paying public are concernd these are new games.

I am going to take my time and enjoy Zelda. Not rushing through it, will explore everything and make it last :D

I've got the day off for mine as well, will be going down to shop first thing unless they do a midnight launch, I'm supposed to start work at half 2 in the afternoon so have booked it off.

I booked the Friday and Monday off, Amazon usually deliver by 11. I bet the console arrives and they send the game royal mail and arrives the following week. If they do that I am rushing to Game for a copy!

I've been wondering to myself why Nintendo didn't release the switch with an updated version of Wii Sports. Surely 'Switch Sports Resort/Club' would have been an instant win given that title alone probably shifted millions of Wii consoles?

1-2-Switch is its replacement. As its shown as an party/family game.

Yeah, but why go with an unknown simplistic party game when you have a guaranteed bankable franchise loved by millions. Seems like madness to me?

Make switch sports resort a pack in title and watch the money roll in! Instant win surely? It's not like it would cost them much to tweak the Wii version slightly and update the visuals.

At least Wii sports had an element of skill based on what's happening on the tv and actually felt like a game. One two switch looks utterly mindless to the point where it's barely even a game.

Is it wrong I want a DS for the new Yoshi game?

I'd buy a 3ds just for ocarina of time and majoras mask. Will wait till they are pretty cheap though before I do anything like that.

But I agree with silvagti, a new updated wii sports would be amazing. For many, Wii sports is a nostalgia game like zelda is for most of us. Obviously you wouldn't buy a console just for wii sports, but if they swapped 1-2 switch with wii sports. I think many more would jump on it. Who knows, might get one made with Mario this Christmas.

Cannae really play baseball and ten pin bowling on a plane or bus on the way to work though can you?

Also the people that liked wii sports have either moved on and won't spend nearly 300 quid for a console, or are happy to continue playing it on the wii, and won't spend nearly 300 quid on a console. They had that novelty and were happy to continue with it, if not wii sports resort would have sold a lot more. As it is, Mario kart outsold it as people has what they needed

The wii being under 200 quid really helped it sell. Even with wii sports, if it had been 300 quid, it wouldn't have sold nearly as well. Nintendo got that price point bang on.

I'm sure I read this last night, it could have been in here, I can't see it haha. But just incase, the custom built FIFA game has actually been confirmed to be Fifa 18. Good news for those who want to play the full fifa on the go!
