*** Nintendo Switch ***

Yeah, thats probably "buy the joy-cons and get the game free or £5".

£75 is a lot of money for joy-cons and I reckon a gamepad would be a better investment.

It's clearly €19.99 for the game...then there will also be an alternative "Special Edition" which includes a set of Joy Cons, that will be a TBC Price no doubt!

But I would expect £75 for the game and the Joy Cons

I wouldn't buy it for £20 unless it came with the joy cons but it looks like a bit of fun.

What were your opinions on the switch and the games you played by the way?

I have copied and pasted from what I said a few weeks back in this thread. Way too far back to search so here you go :)

Just had my play test session.

Zelda - Looks and plays great. There was some frame rate issues but they guy said its an earlier build and not final. Used the pro controller then switched to tablet mode. The visuals and frame rate remained the same.

Mario Kart 8 DX - All the DLC plus extras was included. Feels smoother than the Wii U version.

Arms - Fun game, basically boxing from Wii Sports but with super moves.

Splatoon 2 - Same as Splatoon 1 really.

1-2-1 Switch - HD rumble, whatever they call it is very impressive. Another fun party game.

The overall console doesn't feel cheap, tablet is well built. Feels like my Nvidia Shield Tablet. Joy Cons are a bit small for my large hands though. Im still glad I preordered and I know people will not be disappointed.

Well lost my interest right there. Did not make sense anyway :)

Sounds good. Not long left now. Next week this time my bell might be ringing. Excited :D

Also guys I wouldn't worry about the Joy Con disconnect issue as I would hope that this would be resolved on the Day One update the system is receiving!

Not entirely sure if the sites that have it currently have that update so I may be wrong but as this will be software linked it should be an easy update.

I like how it looks like a premium piece of kit and every single site has remarked that it isn't flimsy or cheap feeling.

Controller issue isn't enough to put me off or I would've already cancelled but it's miffed me off a bit.

It's good to hear, the Wii U controller felt cheap.

The joy con issue, does it happen when people are playing with them connected to the screen? If so it wont really bother me as i reckon most of my use will be on the device itself.

Apparently bluetooth headphones aren't supported. Annoying but not a deal breaker.
For me this is unacceptable, no web browser, no sim model, no netflix or youtube, no movie watching from storage... This device is getting better and better... Was hoping to get it to replace my tablet but is missing 80% futures any tablet has.

Well Zelda seems to be getting great great previews, can't wait to get my hands on it now.
Not liking the fact that after all this time the switch in TV mode is sttuggling to sustain 30fps though..its a dam wii u game. Disappointing.:o
Maybe day 1 Switch firmware upgrade to the rescue!
