Only getting Zelda on release, too. Nothing else appeals at the moment ... next purchase will be Mario Kart & Splatoon2 when they are released.
Popped into GAME earlier and got everything paid upfront.
Decided that I wanted a pain free morning rather than fraffing around with queuing and sorting the 4 different pre orders which I had. In, out and back home with minimal fuss is the aim of the game.
Bloke in there sorted it all in about 10 minutes.
So the receipt has been safely put away and I'm all set for Friday.

I only have a preorder with Amazon but I'm almost tempted to do the same and go local as I'm concerned about it not turning up on Friday or even if it does it not doing so until 9pm. Waste of a day annual leave.
That seems a bit unfair. Someone posts an opinion that you disagree with, you trawl his post history and make sweeping statements about the poster's (possibly misfortune) personal life?

I don't agree with Purple's opinion either. But it's hardly an uncommon viewpoint. Games are more socially acceptable now than ever before. But some people still think they're for kids and immature adults. And Nintendo games attract that viewpoint even more so. If you play on your Switch in public, some people will irrationally judge you. Purple is just one of those people. Ignore. Move on.

Amazon totally balls'ed up my PS4 Pro delivery for launch day. It never came, had to purchase from Currys.
This was precisely my reasoning for going local. Some can see it as impatient, but I just didn't want the hassle of having to wait around for a delivery that could take all day to arrive so was happy to pay a slight premium.
The guy was intentionally trolling and insinuated you were seen as a risk to women and children if found to be playing Nintendo games in public.
Anything he has previously posted in the public domain is fair game if he's going to try his hand at stirring the pot.
I have it for PC but never got a chance to sit and play it to completion though it seemed really good. I'll probably buy it again for the switch as it would be great to play it on the go.
There isn't really much out at launch unfortunately. Really disappointed that the virtual console won't be there day one. Fast RMX , I am setsuna and the binding of Isaac might tempt me depending on how they're priced. I already have Mario kart on preorder
I didn't know you could pay the full cost upfront. Make sure to safeguard those receipts!
Haha, it's just the one receipt now and is safely locked away until Friday morning.
I didn't know about the pre payment thing either until I saw it on Reddit (haven't done a console launch since the 360), and seen a few posts indicating that they wouldn't pay it all beforehand, but my local GAME have been good with updates whenever I've spoken to them so was happy to go for it.
I doubt it within the first year. They will probably tinker with different joycons later on but I'd just get a pro controller if you want to play VC games a lot.
