For me the hype died long ago with mario. Zelda could be more appealing but Mario?
im not 5 anymore.
But this is done right. The PS vita thing is awful really - I've had one since release btw.
Plus you can't play Mario on it
Shame I can play Mario for hours, and hours. It just ooozes quality everytime. I don't need to wait on day one patches, or new DLC or whatever it work straight out the box just like everything Nintendo produces.
Random thought. I hope the dock has an ethernet connection. I'm all for wifi but I do prefer hardwired networking when at home.
For me mario is boring. i get more enjoyment out on other games. Life is too short to just play one franchise. There is a whole leap of other franchises to discover and play.
Mario for me hasnt been relevant for the last 15 years.
younger generation rather play GTA or witcher 3 tbh or better yet pokemon Go or whatever the current FAD is in mobike gaming.
Honestly handheld gaming is dead.
Nintendo should have gone up against the ps4/xbone and make a new console that can play 4k mario etc.
Nintendo should also try and create a new franchise instead of rehashing mario and zelda all the time.
People moan how theres tons of sequals on xbone/ps4 yet it seems ok for Nintendo to rehash Mario to death?
There is far more new unique titles coming out/out already on xbone/ps4 like division, last guadian etc etc.
I see more fresh titles coming from xbone/ps4 then nintendo...
Technically, I know what you're saying, but for my lifestyle situation it's a game changer. I soley bought the Wii U as I could play it on and off the TV, and I play 80% of my Xbox One through game streaming, it just fits my way of life better than using the big tv
so back to cartridges for gaming.

You have little to no chance. It will be Wi-Fi with probable option of adaptor.
Is zelda still relevant now? Games like witcher 3 have elevated that type of open world fantasy gameplay
Looking at the price of the Nvidia Shield I hope that is a good indication of cost at £170 as that should be the ceiling of a Nintendo product.
My guess is around £300
I think they'll kick out a standard and a premium at £250 / £300 respectively.
