*** Nintendo Switch ***

That's pretty bad customer service. I guess you might need to send the joy con in for them to stick that little paddy thing in there?

The original purchase was with smyths toys, nintendo have arranged a repair it should take 3-7 days once they receive the joy cons.

I got refund on my switch as the joy cons were not working properly and ordered a new switch from nintendo, seeing that they have 2 year warranty i thought it would be worth while. Turns out this one has the issues as well lol!

On the plus side i found a nice case "Nintendo Switch Deluxe Travel Case - Zelda (Grey)" the switch fits nice and snug does not move around. here are a few pics:

Pouch has room for joy con attachments & ear bud.

Under where the switch sits it has 2 cases that hold 4 games each, or 3 games and 2 memory cards.

Looks a nice case, does it feel bulky?
I can't make my mind up on cases yet, what made you go for this one?

I just looked at reviews and wanted a case to carry games in as well it doesn't feel to bulky and outer shell is hard. I was going to get the orzly case but the switch moves inside.

I've got the official one and the only thing it's missing is a handle as I don't have a backpack. But it's no real problem.

I am thinking of getting this down the line as I love having carts when changing games. I also would like a place to store a power pack if I decide to get one.

Final edit, what are people saying is the best power bank?

Snake Pass is cool, really nice idea for a game and executed quite well. Once you get a feel for when to use grip and when to use forward it's a very pleasant are rewarding challenge. The music being done by David Wise certainly contributes to that retro N64 nostalgia too.

Already getting Zelda withdrawal though, must... go back... ...explore. It's been many years since I've been this engaged in a videogame, it's legendary:cool:.

Up to over 65 hours now. Not even close to being done with it.

Over 80, still only 2 divine beasts in. About 90 shrines, not done them all just been going about finding them. I get annoyed when my inventory is full, so I'll just go back to each when it's a little less busy.

Thats good to hear. A hard outshell, not letting the console wobble inside and a flap over the screen are all things I wanted.
I'll pick one of these up shortly.

Going back to bulky question its about as wide as the switch dock.

I've had that zelda case on order with shopto for months and they keep putting the release date back. Would cancel but I prepaid

I ordered mine from Coolshop on Monday it arrived today i wanted the all black none zelda but very hard to find in stock.

Indeed, Reggie himself said E3 is going to be "big" for content on both the Switch and 3DS.

I suspect lots of IP announcements, also new IP's!

Firstly, I'll believe it when I see it, past few years of Nintendo E3 have been the most disappointing IMO. Secondly, the "and 3DS" bit rubs me the wrong way, as if Nintendo aren't confident enough to go only-Switch. They should be focusing on the Switch, the 3DS has had it's day and pales in comparison to the Switch. The WiiU released after the 3DS and that system is now retired, I'd reckon it's time for the 3DS to be retired and succeeded. Probably by the Switch if Nintendo are serious about it being the best of both worlds. Every new 3DS game I see for 2017, I'm always thinking: "what if they made it for Switch instead?"

That was the dream, if Switch really was both a handheld and home console, then it should have been the only platform for Nintendo to focus all their efforts and games on. And to be fair, since Zelda released, my 3DS XL has been gathering dust.

Well we will see in June :)

They may have been the most disappointing for years but they haven't had a worthy console to follow through with it in that time, have they? :)

They also haven't been bold enough to state their claim in it being "big" for a while now. If anything it shows confidence. To me at least.

After reading this and the Zelda thread I decided to order a Neon Switch. Picked up Zelda and an Orzy Tempered Glass screen protector now have the painful wait of actually getting the console! Had to order it via Game as I have a load of credit on Game card. What memory cards are you lot using as I'm finding it all a bit confusing was thinking of a 128gb card as I'll no doubt pick up a few indie games that are good for quick pick-up-n-play sessions.

Don't bother splashing out for a super fast card, it won't make any difference. Get a "middle of the road" performance card (so not the cheapest, but not the most expensive) and a decent amount of storage. For physical releases its not necessary but lots of indie titles are coming via the eshop, which is what you will need it for.

I went for a 64GB personally, the majority of games ill be buying will be on cart so that should be enough storage for the indie games which aren't that large.

Obviously with anything like this it's a case of buying whichever size you're happy paying for! 64GB was the sweet spot in size and price for me.

You don't need to buy one just yet I don't think as theres not too many games out yet , I haven't bought one anyway , got snipperclips and snake pass and Zelda and still got 20gb left ... games on this don't seem to take any storage up
Can't believe Zelda is only 280 mb

Digitally I read Zelda is 13.4GB?

Ah might be then but in storage it says 280mb for Zelda
Nearly 1gb for snipperclips
And 3.7gb for snake pass
And I have 20gb left ? I own the physical cartridge for Zelda as well though, can't get over how they've fit such a massive game on something so small !
