*** Nintendo Switch ***

Yeah with so many multiplayer games out this year on Switch already I wasn't expecting a Smash announcement. Maybe they'll release it in conjunction with the paid online service next year.

I can't see it being a straight Wii U port or even a deluxe version, perhaps a 'super deluxe' version or sorts would be the least to expect (i.e. a more significant upgrade than MK8D was).

The only thing I secretly wanted which wasn't announced was Bayonetta 3...I can dream :(

Haha me too... what makes it worse is I heard through an industry contact back in October that Platinum Games were working on "something Bayonetta related", but then 3 months later Bayonetta on PC is announced so i think it was just that... probably.

It's not far fetched at all though, Bayonetta being added as a character is Smash (through public ballot) is a good sign as it gives the IP a lot more exposure. I guess we'll keep dreaming for now though :D.

If I already owned a 3DS I'd be really hyped for that Metroid. It lookd excellent :)

Mario Rabbids playtime next.

I cant help but think Nintendo have announced these far too early. These are years away...i dont think Pokemon or Metroid will even be 2018.

I think due to public demand that couldn't NOT announce it. I think a lot of people would have been a bit bitter if they hadn't :p

Especially with the teases from Retro studios as well.

Pokémon has a chance...the way they worded it at the very least...it's also possible, just possible, that Retro have been working on Metroid Prime 4 for around 3 years already if indeed it is them.

It isnt. Ign and various other have said it isnt retro.

"Fyi, Metroid Prime 4 is not being developed by Retro Studios, but a new team led by franchise producer Kensuke Tanabe."

Wow! Ok, I am surprised. Lets hope they don't balls it up. Got a big pedestal to climb!

Im not a Metroid superfan tbh but im sure they wont balls it up...could be curtains for the franchise.

I havent owned a nintendo console since the gamecube so i might actually pick up a wii tomorrow and play some of these older titles.

Retro arent developing Metroid though apparently.

Oh damn, I just assumed... especially after those Tweets.

It could be that they are just not the primary studio on the project, Wikpedia says they are working on something "Co-produced by Nintendo SPD Group No. 3", so developed at Nintendo under a new team with Retro assisting would fit.

If not I now wonder what Retro are up to then ...

I won't lie...the more I see of this Mario Rabbids game...the more interested I am. It looks simple yet technical and fun. Also looks gorgeous.

Xenoblade 2 looks cool. Hope we can change to Japanese voices because that sounded terrible. Yoshi adorable, will definitely be getting that.

Not seen everything yet. Can't tear myself away from Mario Kart ;)

FE warriors is basically a Dynasty Warriors game but with FE characters.

FE: warriors looks ridiculous and not in a good way

It's a lot like Hyrule Warriors which is surprisingly fun, there is some depth to it too (at least on hard mode).

I felt Hyrule Warriors was missing that strategic layer to make it something really great, but yeah... it's more fun than it looks.
