*** Nintendo Switch ***

So, Skyrim and Xenoblade this year for me to go with my Zelda. Very nice. Metroid when it is released too! I've not actually played it since the NES, so I hope the VC gets the earlier Primes for me to play :)

Other than that, there are a few games I may look to get for local multiplayer fun (ARMS, Splatoon 2) to go along with Bomberman and Mariokart that I have.

Don't care about the rest of the games but I am happy with the above so all is good and truth be told there is nothing I was 'hoping' for. That said, UK version of the Secret of Mana trilogy would be nice, and I would probably wet myself if they released a new one.

Smart move announcing Pokémon and the fact it won't be out for at least a year is good because it gives time for supply of Switch to be up and running.

I know it makes no sense being a Nintendo fan yet not being interested in the kidesque styled games (Rabbids, Yoshi, Pokémon etc.) and not caring much for Mario, so I am pleased that despite this, there are games for me

Wonder if it will be the usual Pokemon top down style or full 3D open world like BotW.

Out of all the updates from E3 this has me the most excited, I sincerely hope they adopt a more BotW esque style but as another poster has mentioned it will probably be a better version of a 3DS game :/

Pokemon would make a fantastic proper 3D open world game. There is no real reason for them not to do it.

Well. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a Switch now. Metroid Prime 4 was the game I said I'd buy the console for and they've only gone and done it! 10 years I've been waiting for this. Hopefully by the time it is released there's some stock :D

Given that it is at least a year away. I would hope so :p :D

If thats the case they are taking the pee. I assume thats just a worst case scenario but if it isn't then they won't sell many copies.

I know there is no real logic behind the idea that a game being ported across to a new system shouldn't cost as much as when it was first released but there comes a point where you are just being greedy.

I was surprised that smash bros wasn't announced, even if it's a port of the Wii U version I would happily buy it again.

Don't want to release all the bangers in the first year!

Gotten heavily into Breath of the Wild again! Found it abit full on to begin with and hard to pick up but it's all falling into place.

Having watched more mario gameplay stuff i'm more excited about it now. I'm sure it will be really good even if it isn't a classic.

I don't think I've been this excited for Nintendo releases since I owned the N64!

Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem, Mario Odyssey, rabbits, Splatoon are all day ones for me. I would say Arms too but I don't think it get much use out of it as I play my switch on my lunch and for a bit after work.

Definitely time to be excited as a Nintendo fan!
