*** Nintendo Switch ***

Looks like I'll be sending mine back to Nintendo due to the creaky loose joycons.
That's 30+ hours of Zelda I'll have to replay. :(

?????

Sending it back to Nintendo doesn't mean the data is going to be wiped automatically??

Well from chatting to them online they will probably just replace the whole system as I'm still within 30 days of purchase and they are unsure if it's an issue with the Switch or the Joycons.

Pick up a set of joycons if you can quickly. Rule out the Switch itself. Send whatever necessary back

How is your Wifi strength (2.4GHz not 5GHz)? Both models that had the problem also had poor WiFi signal compared to the third one.

Mine sucks it has 2 meter range, my first two switch could at least get 4-5 meters, I sent it to nintendo they said no fault found.... so i sent back again

Finding Zelda a bit hard to get into due to the dull graphics. I'm by no means one to complain about them usually but it's just rather bland, especially after playing mk for a bit.

Edit: better now I'm in a new place. It's the vast expanses of grass that make it look bad imo.

If they replace the whole system then they will transfer your data.

This is the problem I have, Nintendo won't acknowledge the fault. What did they do the second time you sent it back?

Anyone have the special edition of Fire Emblem Warriors and can tell me if the game box has the horrendous German rating logo? The actual game box, not the outer cardboard box.

Thanks

Happy that I had no dead pixels and joycons seems fine. I don't find the system that comfortable to use in handheld with the controllers attached to the side.
That said, it's good to have multiple options. I actually prefer playing Zelda with the detached joycons than using pro controller.

Just ordered a switch got the deal that is on at the moment at Tesco (Console + 2 Games) for £240 with staff discount.

What issues with the hardware do I need to look out for and also any must have accessories? I am thinking about getting the Pro Controller are should I just give the Joy-cons a go first before buying it.

Dock sock for sure, it makes me nervous putting it in the dock. That said, I'll likely get a low profile 3rd party dock.
