*** Nintendo Switch ***

For first party stuff I'd say it is a perfect accompaniment to a PC. Don't underestimate the power of being able to play in handheld - even if you don't think you will, you almost certainly will. It has totally changed the way that I consume and play games

This in a nutshell

Yeah most say that they're the perfect combination. Many are rebuying games or preferring to play on the Switch due to the handheld nature of it. :)

On the flip side, I am planning on building a PC in the future to have this combo :p

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I've played Zelda through on the Wii U (although I loved it and would probably buy it again on the Switch eventually).

Thanks for the list, Kreee - fantastically helpful.

Would you say that a Switch is worthwhile if I've already got a PC, on which I can play a lot of the indie titles for less money?

I have a gaming PC and all the consoles, but the Switch is all I ever play now except for playing online with friends. Having all those indie and AAA games on the go is a very appealing prospect.

Some of the prices are taking the pee though, such as the Donkey Kong re-release costing more than the original did at launch.

Pre-ordered Pokemon and Pokeball controller for £80 from Smyths. The inner-child in me can't resist :o

Any takers for Crash Bandicoot when it lands in a couple of days?

I am tempted....but then again I am with every bloody release it seems for the switch!

My issue with Crash games was that I never really liked them despite buying them and wanting to. I don't like running into the screen perspective. That mini game in Uncharted 4 reminded me of how much I hated them and I just wanted it to be over. It does look like a great package but not for me. Inside releases tomorrow I'm far more interested in that.

I recently picked it up on ps4. Big fan as a kid but I honestly played it like 2 times before trading it in.

It looks nice but the gameplay just hasn't aged well imo. I also found that 1 and 2 dont really have anything memorable about them. 3 has more variety but that starts repeating pretty quickly.

The game itself also seemed to suffer from poor loading times between each level which I can't understand for such a simple game. Even not being able to skip the intro logos bugged me :D

So no one here picked up Mario Tennis Aces?

It has got us playing the switch a lot more. Only have 3 games on my switch currently. Mario Kart 8, Mario Odyssey and Mario Tennis Aces. All Mario :D

Going to pick up Captain Toad once I can find it for around £20 :)

Not sure of all the chatter above, but is that about Hyrule Warriors? Worth picking up?

Will be getting Tennis in time for Christmas :p For me it's multiplayer in the same room or nothing. Sp tennis doesn't appeal to me at all.
