*** Nintendo Switch ***

Got my Wii U set up after having it in storage for a couple of years and also got a 2DS and now I'm starting to eye up the Switch. The only problem is there isn't much of a second-hand market yet from what I can tell, and I'm not sure I could afford a library of games for it. I do want to get Breath of the Wild though. I'd love to stream that on Twitch.

I'm only interested in Switch exclusive games. If I can get a game on the PC or PS4, I'd probably get it there so I'm not sure how much choice I'd have when it comes to real Switch exclusives.

secondhand switch games are still not going cheap but it really is an awesome console.

You might change your mind once you play one . Multi platform games are better on switch when you realise you can play them on the train or elsewhere. Yes the PS4 version may look better but they are more fun on Switch.

It is such a shame there is no virtual console on the Switch. That would probably have pushed me over the edge to get one.
 
I think after they grow the 29 NES game library on it then we will see some SNES games appear and maybe other Nintendo console games over time .

I doubt we'll see Sega console games but that Sega 2ill eventually release their own collections. We already have some classic Neo Geo games for purchase .
 
Last week I bought a Mario Odyssey Edition Switch along with MK8, Zelda and an RDS deluxe travel case, loving it so far :D, only wish I'd bought one sooner :rolleyes:.

Yeah, I bloody hope its not more smash. We don't need more time on that. They did say there is "more" to come last time though.

Well direct is a direct, it says 3DS and Switch titles up coming, so lets see.
 
I doubt they'll talk much about Smash since it recently had it's own direct. I think there will be a second dedicated Smash Bros direct later to talk about the mystery mode, online features, new character reveal(s) etc.

We might hear about the rumoured ports of New Super Mario Bros U and Mario Maker, in addition to games coming early next year.

Looking forward to it either way :)
 
They gave us some big surprises this time last year,i dont think anyone saw Doom and Wolfenstein coming so hopefully some more big hitters for the Switch .
I really couldn't give a rat's ass about 3DS anymore though ... unless it's another Mario 3d game :)
