*** Nintendo Switch ***

I think Thunder Force IV was the first Mega Drive game I played so kinda tempted to pick it up. Sonic 1 out too, think I'd just get Mania if I wanted to play some Sonic though.

Other Sega games coming soon:

Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Columns II
Gain Ground
Out Run
Phantasy Star
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Space Harrier
Thunder Force AC

More still are coming but yet to be announced.

Only odd thing is we have the Sega collection game coming soon too that is already out on the other systems so why are they releasing these under a separate banner?

I dint think thunder force is in that collection mind so I'm happy to pick that one up

Thunder Force IV is now on Switch. 5.99 isn't too bad. Amazing shooter of its time with a fantastic soundtrack which I assume remains the same! Solid challenge too
Got a link I can't see it?

Edit - nevermind. Doesn't show on Web shop but shows on the shop from the switch

The Sega Ages versions have better more accurate emulation and additional modes and features.

In Thunder Force IV, there is apparently also an option to disable the slowdown(issue) that was in the original Mega Drive game, which is really cool.

It turns out that you can do full game sharing on the Switch with another console.

Switch 1: Buy all games on profile A (primary console for this account), and play them on profile B
Switch 2: Play all games on profile A (secondary console for this account)

Both Switches can be online and playing the same game at the same time, but Switch 2 always needs to be online to launch a new game. Once launched you can play in airplane mode until you change the game or fully shut down the Switch.

It's a little bit of a faff initially but great in households with 2 Switches.

Got my 11 year old lad a switch for his birthday this week , he has 3 games so far , donkey kong freeze , mushroom one and the one where you quick draw ,open safes etc .

can someone please recommend a good two player game i can pick up this weekend Ta

Overcooked, Snipper Clips, Worms, Death Squared, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (this is probably too difficult unless he's ahead for his age), Mario Kart, Escapists 2.

It's a game based around territory control in a 4v4 scenario. You cannot play split screen online so you are limited to the tacked on 1v1 modes which don't fit the games mechanics.

My little one ADORES Mario Odyessy in assist mode. The two player is meh but she gets me to do some of the more tricky jumps etc. We completed it already and going through to get as many moons as we can.

E: and Snipper Clips, hilarious some times but wouldn't pay full price for it
