*** Nintendo Switch ***

With Dark Souls, which I've already sunk 40 hours in to, and Diablo 3 which is buttery smooth, I am like the proverbial pig in **** right now. I just love this thing!

Haha, I’m loving Diablo. Yes it’s an old game but I’m amazed how they’ve managed to make it look so good and lock at 60fps regardless of what’s going off on the screen.

Diablo 3 sounds like a great port for the system. I'd love to play it but can't justify it right now as I only recently bought / played through another console version, and the rest :D

I just purchased smash from the South African eShop for £42. I want it digital but there's no way that I'm paying £60 for it!

That is the cheapest store for a lot of games. Dark Souls is almost 10eur cheaper from there than the Portuguese store for me. Making its only 30eur. If I didn't recently get Mafia 3 I probably would have bought this by now.

Dark Souls is cheaper physically, in fact Smash Bros is even with the South African eShop but I really like having multiplayer games digitally.

Edit: I've also buckled and bought Into the Breach from the SA store as RTS/TBS is my favourite genre and it got such high praise. Where is Advance Wars Switch!?

Can I ask a quick favour of a few switch owners here? Basically trying to work out if this Nintendo branded Switch AC adapter I was given in a bundle is dodgy fake or just from a different / newer batch than mine. I ask mainly as I can't find any info online about the part number online which is never a good sign.

So for example mine from my release day Amazon direct purchase is: HAC-002 (UKV) / HAC-A-ADHMM-UKV-P0 / MADE IN PHILIPPINES

If yours is different than mine, but known genuine from a new first hand purchase from a reliable source please let me know the details.

Cheers!

I've had smash on Amazon pre-order for ages so still have the £2 discount making it £48. Still feels very expensive though for what's basically a remaster of a Wii u game! I'll probably stick with it though as I skipped it last generation.

I also like the look of that retro title the messenger. I was hoping they might do a physical release of it though but no sign as yet so I'll maybe just grab it digitally.

Has anyone tried it?

Bastion and Transistor are half the price on the SA eShop, and that's without being on offer.

Most Indie games are half price on there. I think I'll just leave my region as SA permanently.

Does seem like the best option. Do you use your regular debit card/PayPal?

Not exactly cheap but less than on Amazon, I just picked myself up a new and sealed Hasbro Game Night (Risk, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit) up on the auction site for £30.00 considering Monopoly on its own sells for £20.00.

Should be fun at Christmas with the family, I think it was a new release earlier in the week.
